It starts with a bitter-herbaceous fruity yuzu, behind which a bright, fresh needle-like scent spreads warmly. Creamy floral ylang notes come in, along with a subtle incense.
Leather facets of castoreum mix slightly sweaty-sweet with hyraceum, taking on a characteristically animalic-warm-musk-like spiciness. There are also dry, woody, and earthy nuances. A certain fruity-animalic acidity remains present. Well made, but nothing entirely new. Personally, I feel the green needle ether is a bit lacking. In the dry down, the scent remains relatively clean, slightly waxy-creamy-bright with a hint of acidity and distant spice. Yuzu lingers pleasantly long on the skin. It now smells almost a bit classic. The theme of the African jungle is only partially addressed for me.
