The scent of darkness

Beginning with a blend of coked pine, cocoa, medicinal-animalic Thai oud, and fruity-rooty-smoky Laos oud, sweeter, mossier, and animalic-leathery aromas of Indian oud and the loamy-rooty nuances of Cambodian oud soon come into play. Champaka contributes creamy sweetness. Beeswax and amber set few resinous luminous pearls. At times, I thought I smelled sunny salty skin. Kostus underscores the animalic-rootiness while bridging to the woodier base notes, which create the image of a mulched forest floor through the mushrooms. The scent of darkness works moderately over eight hours.
