Sparkling and woody?
So, I don't know if sparkling wood is a thing, but Danaë is that. There's a wonderful, citrus effervescent opening, which has a fizzy, almost metallic backing, similarly to Ganymede, or Brass and Soul, but then the dry down goes woody and incense, with a pleasant musk. I put this guy away for the summer, and brought it back out this October, and I really am enjoying it.

Very nice Blue
This fragrance is a little different to the classic Very Sexy for him, but the changes are all good. Icy bergamot in the opening blends well with the sexy, musky base from the original Very Sexy for Him. My partner is a huge fan of this one and at the price, it's a solid buy. I definitely recommend it. Doesn't last all day but it's great for a summer night out.

Sparkling Ocean Breezes
I love this scent. It's simply magical to me. I grew up in a coastal town, so to me, aquatic or oceanic scents are always going to bring me to my happy place.

Erolfa opens with a bright, sparkling citrus, which, while similar to the sparkling citrus of Millesime Imperial, isn't as heavy on the melon or the musk, so you get a cleaner smell, where sometimes Millesime Imperial will have a funkyness reminiscent low tide. No such funkiness here. Erolfa maintains a sparkly citrus throughout its life on my skin, drying down to Creed's incomparable ambergris and woody base.

It's a boat cruise in a bottle with every spray.

Beautiful Oceanic Fragrance
This is one where the original is worth the price of admission. I've tried some clones of this one, and they all fail to capture the breezy airiness of the citrus. There's an ethereal quality to it. When it wafts, you're reminded of scents that are ancillary to a beach vacation. It's wonderful that this is accompanied without traditional aquatic notes, yet it feels aquatic.

The citruses are some of the brightest out there. It serves a similar evocative purpose to Erolfa, although it is not quite as effervescent, and the scents themselves are not similar.

College Nights
A lot of people associate this scent with high school, but I was in college when I first smelled this. The scent is very evocative of a beach evening. The driftwood smell reminds me of stacking pallets and driftwood for bonfires, and building driftwood shelters, with the salty sunset. It's the smell of an evening curled up on a blanket with a coed, watching the sun melt into the horizon.

Sweet pineapple in the opening, with a vague sunscreen note, and then smooth creamy woods in the heart and base, help this scent evoke the memories above. A decade and a half after graduation, this remains one of my favorite summer evening scents.
