So Zitrus Cologne also goes luxuriously
Citrus scents are a thing of the past
Some of these conspecifics smell like cheap lemon cake or the agent used to clean our bathroom.

Maybe you have been to a Japanese boutique or furniture popup before. They often use diffusers that evaporate lemon oil. Yeah? That's exactly where we're going

Dior Homme Cologne starts with a clear, high-quality citrus note. Here I smell the lemon and the peel equally.
In addition, light woods and something velvety resonate, which is probably the vetiver.

The fragrance remains linear over the entire course and only flattens slightly into the velvet note at the end.

The sillage is quite strong in the beginning, but it will subside just as quickly.
The durability is unfortunately below average and he disappeared after 4-5 hours.

Is it worth the purchase?
Who has a limited budget should think twice before buying. It is somehow suitable for allday use, but the performance is too bad and it is very expensive for a cologne.

I bought it anyway and I enjoy
him from time to time in the summer.

But you can guarantee that he won't get on anybody's nerves.
But is that really a plus?

Last but not least, I must emphasize that it is not a unisex scent. My wife also blindly recognized immediately that it is a men's scent.

Sunset Heat - The 30min dream summer
In spring 2008, a well-known perfumery was on the road in one of the Düsseldorf branches.
I was an apprentice at the time, 19 years old and it must have been shortly after work.
Two older guys (approx. my current age) were busy testing some scents.
I remember someone saying "that's the summer scent this year, women love that"
From my point of view, they were pretty cool guys and "going down well with the ladies"...of course I wanted that too. So I waited for them to leave and grabbed the bottle.
"hmm looks pretty corny" I thought to myself...sprayed on...brutally horny!
He smelled super fruity, like a Caribbean cocktail with lots of melon or similar and still masculine.

What makes this story so interesting?
It's very simple. That's how I fell for a head note for the first time! :)
This one lasts about 20 minutes and is bombastic, but really only 20 minutes!

After that it becomes aquatic/spicy for a short time and after a maximum of one hour I smell my deodorant stronger than the fragrance. I cannot even point out the pyramid.

In the meantime the fragrance is no longer produced and for nostalgic reasons I bought a completely overpriced bottle.

If I feel like having a 30min summer every now and then, I might spray it on.

When the King speaks!
I am in possession of the complete Dior Homme series since yesterday.
Until then, all I needed was perfume.
Admittedly, it was a blind purchase, which with almost 100€ was certainly no cheapie.
So far DHI has been the ultimate luxury for me

When your little brother snatches your girls away.
The Dior Homme DNA and I are connected by an intimate love. This one found its climax funny enough in Valentino Uomo Intense, who is basically a "better DHI".
I have been allowed to call both DHI and the Dior Homme perfume my own for years.
Both are absolute grenades and I bought them several times.

Dior homme Edt was never interesting for me, because I always assumed that it was a lighter version of DHI. Ohh what a mistake!

Of course, the DNA can also be seen in the Dior Homme Edt, but it is much fresher and more versatile. In my experience he is much more popular with women, with which he clearly snatches the ladies from his big brother DHI :)

He starts citrically with bergamot and sage which is also known from YSL fragrances. It smells very harmonious, fresh and clean. A few woods are also included.
Then the iris tonka beans bomb!
However, this combination is less sticky than in DHI. I also notice a hint of cocoa.

Due to the fresher note it can be used more widely than DHI and due to the often significantly lower price it is a good everyday fragrance.

The Sillage is very strong for an Edt.
The shelf life is a good 5 hours.

Elegant luxury fabric softener of the top class
"Fresh fabric softener with a luxury vibe"
This is how this fragrance was called again and again and in numerous reviews.
But what man would seriously want to smell like fabric softener? ...was my thought.
I've been taught a better lesson! :)

Bought it blind on the net and got it yesterday.
Thanks to numerous discounts it was finally available for almost 50€/100ml.

The bottle is a grenade.
Super high quality, solid and extraordinary.
So he brings exactly the values I associate with Prada.

The fragrance is in no way alcoholic and remains constant throughout the whole process.
It is extremely powdery, but not sweet.
He's extremely clean, but no Aquat.
It's extraordinary, but not exotic.
This fragrance smells simply pleasant and clean, but is clearly recognizable as a men's fragrance.

He will definitely be my new office fragrance and accompany me through autumn and spring.

Sillage: strong
Shelf life: 7-8 hours +
