Words don't come easy to me
I was in love with F.R. David. I was 11 or 12 when the song came out and I would say it was the first song I would call an earworm. When I saw the writing on the bottle, I immediately wanted to hear it again.

Writing about this fragrance is not so easy either, because I don't smell what the fragrance notes suggest. I think I smell a lavender scent, very similar to Fourreau Noir. But it could also be the combination of tonka, patchouli and peru balsum that tricks my nose into thinking I'm smelling lavender. Yes, it's coumarin, not like woodruff, more herbaceous. And what's also different is that right at the start, the impression of aftershave comes through for a brief moment.........and then it's gone again.

In the end, it's a smoky clay powder on my skin and I'm still fascinated by how similar it is to Fourreau Noir. I would also describe Play Intense as similar because it also smells so intensely of tonka and has that aftershave vibe to it.

Gourmand: Glutton or sweet tooth
Gourmands were always the ones who didn't eat, but stuffed everything down their throat and ate it. It was only here that I learned that there are gourmand scents that smell fruity, caramelly, vanilla..........somehow edible and sweet and are for the foodies. But here I would have preferred the cheese trolley.

In classic kitchens, the patisserie area is rather unloved: sticky fingers were always the knockout. Argument for my colleagues not to take on this part of the kitchen. At the end of Servus, my aprons were abstract color paintings that were only worthy of display in my opinion, of course. I'm a friend of gourmands, keep them coming - I want to try them all!

Diadema is not the crown of creation, but at least it's a diadem. It smells orangey-cherry, vanilla, caramel and somehow creamy. Patchouli underlines the fruitiness. Jasmine is perceptible, while rose and ylang tend to fade into the background. And I could really like the fragrance if the caramel note wasn't so overpowering. As if the fragrance wanted to say: Hey, I'm a caramel bomb, look at me! While this caramel note in Lira is rather dignified and smells like a luxurious dessert, here it is more skin-deep and therefore seems artificial. Artificial, too, because the cherry-orange combination smells like a plain lollipop and not like a dessert. The caramel note only becomes pleasant on my skin after an hour.

When the residence rises
Are the schools closing again now because residency is going up?.......says my daughter. Huahuahua..........the residence. So if it goes up, Holland is in trouble.......or was it Poland? I explain that she means incidence, she is so droll sometimes. My daughter loves Cloud. When I go to the bathroom after her in the morning, it smells like Cloud, not always, but often. Cloud is really popular and rightly so. Yes it's cute, but young girls are ideally cute too. I like smelling that on her.

If you smell Cloud from afar, yes, then smells also like Baccarat Rouge. But if you approach the scented person, then you smells, it smells nice creamy sweet and coconut. At the start I also smell pear, but that's it. You don't always need a huge scent story. And I'm glad that the pubescent scented, the delicious baby smell is gone.

BatchFascists and already smelled a thousand times and not worth its price ?
I play today times picture newspaper, therefore this headline and these are the words that I particularly like when they occur in a statement: "This batch blablabla" and "smelled so already a thousand times" and "is not worth its price".

When I came here and wanted to swap one of my first fragrances, I was asked which batch it was. Hm, where do I call there now without outing myself as an absolute moron? So read and read again. All right, based on the batch I can see which year the fragrance is from and some are better than others, the code is on the packaging and often on the bottom of the bottle. Often the older batches are probably better............but that would now lead too far and is not always true. If I already read batch, then I usually do not read further. Because if I like a fragrance, then grad the one that I test or that I have myself. If someone asks about the batch, I can understand that. This is then something like shop talk among lovers of these fragrances, you do with wines so.

Already a thousand times smelled should mean: nothing new, not creative, maybe boring, not interesting enough...............was also always. This is about as I would tell that I was today already on the toilet. It's like that and everyone does it, but only a few people are interested. Truffles I have also smelled a thousand times, finds but again and again horny.

Is not worth its price, should probably mean much too expensive. Whether a fragrance is worth its price, the buyer decides. I can write: I find him overpriced or I can and / or I do not want to pay. That fits. But who am I to say that a fragrance is not worth its price? That degrades the people who love this fragrance, they have been overcharged. Are prices for some fragrances exorbitant? Yes, for sure! Am I allowed to write that? Yes, I may! But me stand and claim that the fragrance is not worth its price, I find stupid.

How do I get now ne reasonably good transition to the fragrance. Only fascists marry in white and love that, even if it's expensive?.........Nope, that doesn't fit at all.
Thought Love in white is certainly as a fragrance for brides, I think. He is light, a bit like the bride's flower bouquet and also a bit like freshly showered bride. And it's as light as the bride's veil. Fresh is what you should smell at your wedding, I mean. It's fluffy, sweet and unexciting. For me, he is too light, I like it rather with more Wumms.

Which batch did I have? No idea! - was ne manufacturer sample.
Already smelled a thousand times? No, but similar fragrances I could name now!
Is it worth its price? No idea, would not buy him! - think but already that he is high-priced.

Jungle Book for advanced learners
Everyone knows the black panther from the Jungle Book - Bagheera. He finds Mowgli in the jungle and brings him to the wolves who raise him. He protects Mowgli, the funny part is taken over by Balou and you always have to watch out for Kaa, because she likes to choke Mowgli sometimes when Baghira is not paying attention. "Try coziness" my daughter and I used to sing along fervently. Or the monkey dance "King Loui - I'd love to be like you". When she was little, the movie was also available as a series, and that was nice too. But the classic film by Walt Disney remains unmatched for me.

How panthers smell I can not judge, none so close. Perhaps rather human cougars, from which one says yes gladly, they smell. Bagheera is really a small work of art, a long-lasting work of art, which also tells a beautiful fragrance story. Since Munich is a village in terms of perfume, I picked up this little treasure yesterday, sat together nicely, gossiped over a cozy beer and also immediately still Manly tasted.

Bagheera starts sharp on my skin, I think it's the violet that gives the sharpness. There is also a fruity note from the blackberry. And immediately it also smells sweat on my skin, but not unpleasant. And I don't notice any sweetness at first - Bagheera is unsweet for a very long time, it's only after a few hours that sweetness comes through, it becomes more powdery, the leather comes in, but not very leathery for me. The cedar is also good to smell on my skin in the first time. And today, the next morning, Bagheera is still there, just a hint on my wrist, but easily detectable. Now that's what I call staying power.

I can compare the fragrance with no other, because similar I have not yet smelled. I come rather from the sweet fraction and am surprised how well I like Bagheera. Also, because I do not stand on sweat notes sonders and that sounds in connection with leather for me rather bäh. But Bagheera is beautiful and anything but ew. As already said, a small work of art.
