Sooo, the first Douglas own-brand fragrance that came to my nose (and to my neck, wrist and hoodie).
With the name "Spicy Charm" I expected the following characteristics: Spicy,warm,heavy,cuddly,autumnal,possibly balsamic. The glass flacon with the small purple accents could have made me think that the content might not match my expectations.
But of course I only notice something like this when it is supposedly too late

Now to the fragrance: Without having looked at the pyramid of fragrance, I smell oranges at the beginning, but the rose and patchouli are already in their shadows ,to scare them and drive them away spontaneously. With this plan you wait about 15 minutes. After about 30 more minutes, woody and minimally vanilla tones will join in. Unfortunately I cannot decipher them without reading them. All in all, the fragrance is already very nicely interwoven from the middle, although the beginning is synthetic-fruity. He is very fast very close to me, he does not kill anyone in the room. All in all, I think it is a nice companion for everyday life or dates with the girls in a cozy round.
It's interesting enough to remember, but fades away fast enough (about 4 hours perceptible for me) not to get on your nerves a week later on your denim jacket. He is allowed to stay, but he is not let out of his box in really cold temperatures.

Sooo, my first comment to a real classic, a stroke of luck that this apparently old and still intact original miniature fell into my hands
How do I start?
The first picture that immediately opens up to me and awakens memories is, I hope, an adequate description for a hopefully rudimentary description:
It is Sunday morning and the hunters in their best loden skirts gather for a glass of port wine in a meadow in front of the manor house for a rendezvous. It is a sunny and mild spring morning, the spring breeze blows through the woods, the sun is already warming slightly and the freshly greased bridle of the saddled horses mixes with the grasses of the pasture and the aromas of the port wine.
The hunt begins and leads through picturesque fir forests, both horse and rider break into a sweat and the whole pack is surrounded by a warm spicy earthy leathery breeze.
Back at the manor house the horses are taken care of and the hunter asks to join the traditional hunt and a small refreshment on the pasture in front of the manor house. The stew is traditionally eaten outside in riding clothes. It dawns, and the spices of the wine join the smell of the horse and the woody cabochard on my neck. The atmosphere outside at dusk is relaxed and the first dances in riding clothes are performed, the atmosphere at the campfire is joyful and the long lasting smell from the house of Gres can be experienced without any problems. Even when I take off my riding boots at night when I bend down, a woody breeze swings up to me, now also delicately flowery, and I think with a soulful smile - WHAT A SUNDAY.
Rarely has a fragrance evoked such a strong association in me, strong and natural, durable and so highly recognizable. I think this classic is the founder of my love for Chypres.

I had almost forgotten the dark blue slim bottle from my early 20's...
But in times of being alone every evening I dug out a recently received sample and fell in love again...
Is it a fragrance that would do me good at work?No. The O-flower would kill my environment.

Is it a scent for a first date that will be waiting for me sometime in the future?no, because with the strong Sillage code is just too much for me.

BUT: This is the fragrance whose transformation from strong and scratchy to warm and soft at the base reminds me of all the memories of parties with friends in my Storm and Stress period, it is present, strong, soft and soft on the finish and a wonderful companion for reminiscing in spring at least in the evening, and I know it will still be on my wrist the next morning, even after the shower. He is and remains no fragrance for a night, but stands for several years, which I would not want to miss

Last year, this little darling was allowed to move in with me, unexpectedly bought blind. Now I would not have thought that it would be so difficult for me to write a suitable comment for a fragrance with such a manageable fragrance pyramid. I myself like the handy bottle with a good quality sprayer above 20 degrees, because that's when I notice the cocoa. Otherwise the blackberry dominates on the well-known 4711 DNA, the shelf life on my skin is about 2 hours, on my clothes it lasts a little longer. But now to the impressions of third parties since last year:
1)Mama: "fresh.but where is the cocoa?"
2) Cousin : " puuuuuh that only smells like 4711"
3) Colleague: " oh that is refreshing, what is that? Berries or?"
4) Girlfriend : " is quite nice, too fresh for me, but it smells great on you"

Well, the feedback is widely spread, so I rely on my own nose, which today on the balcony has indulged in this fragrance: I love it in summer! What many describe as pungent, is what makes the initial freshness kick for me. And when it is hot enough this gourmand finish...hach...

Okay, the headline may seem negative, but it's deceptive
This pale pink drugstore fragrance reflects exactly what the bottle promises. Delicately soapy and flowery, without any kind of buzz, I can mist myself with this little fragrance, just as I always did in 2005, the year it was first released (I was 20 at the time). The relative of "Amor Amor" also reminds me of that time. Bodytalk is quieter, independent of the applied amount - no matter if 1 sprayer or 10- it is immediately close to the skin.
He has felt no Sillage and only c. 2 hours durability on my skin. That's why I appreciate it on the days when I scrub the stall manure from the skin and then get out of the shower and prolong this "finally clean feeling". He is all in all nothing special, who loves vanilla has to be patient until the last 5 minutes, until body talk says goodbye. But soapy tangerine and neroli I perceive the full 2 hours, artificial, but still not unpleasant, because he is so discreet. So he may stay until the bottle is empty, but I wouldn't look for him in the net, then rather the somewhat louder Amor Amor ...
