The Uprising
Insurrection wild was once again one of my blind purchases for small money.
Fixed by the quite positive ratings and unisex suitability of the fragrance landed this quite quickly in the shopping cart and thus in my collection.
It is an exciting moment every time blind purchases arrive, so I opened the quite large package with excitement.
I was quite astonished by the high-quality looking packaging in the form of a brown, solid cardboard box, labelled with golden writing.
Looks kind of like the demonic perfume Bible...
On a flap you pull out the glass bottle, which lies there like a small sanctuary and if you suffer a little lack of sleep, like I do at the moment, you hear demonic hissing and see bright cones of light.
I have to say that even if the workmanship is not the best, I am still really impressed by the attention to detail and the great presentation.
Now then, the scent.
In the first impression I take a landing honey was which one tries to get rid of with a sharp men's shower gel.
I am annoyed for a second by the piercing shower gel and am rewarded with a candied cherry covered in dark chocolate. The shower gel stays discreetly in the background, but is nevertheless a permanent guest in the cherry choir!
Yeah. After all, it is also declared as a men's scent :)
The fragrance becomes softer and softer in the drydown, with ambergris and delicate suede. The honey also finds its way back and the cherry celebrates its successful rebellion, just like Che, with a Cuban and a peppermint candy...
From now on, the fragrance remains linear for my perception and that suits it well. The Sillage is present but not obtrusive and the scent lasts for 12 hours on my clothes. So all in all, I am totally thrilled with the quality and overall look of the fragrance for the ridiculous price. The world needs more uprisings!!! :D

S. O. S
So, after two days with latent nausea I'm back to report about this cute little fragrance :).
I spotted the harmless looking little bottle of my fragrance dealer from afar. I walked up to her and somehow found the whole situation almost creepy. Because of the previous comments I was even excited (maybe prejudiced) and met the whole thing with the probably necessary respect, because after all I wanted to go home by train later without being arrested.
So... I opened the thing very carefully and smelled the lid...
Yeah, what can I say. I quickly closed the lid again, because the stench (yes, stench) of a mouldy wooden boat on a tilted ocean burned into my nose! The already dead crew of this boat still eats salted Katjes herrings, which are washed down with salt water and how could it be otherwise, they throw up on them
Of course, no one ever cleans up the mess. If one listens carefully, the undead still sing sad songs about suffering and destruction. The slimy green octopus sometimes gives comfort
This must definitely be the signature water of the octopus pirate from Pirates of the Caribbean. Exactly this picture I had in my head!

I spared myself and my environment the skin test, I was afraid my arm would rot off.

Maybe megamar art is but it stinks!

Failed!
Since my perfume budget was used up again this month, but I can't help it, I spent the sunny afternoon in the city on the green. I need a summer scent, I can't get anything out of the German "winter" and its grey dreariness and I definitely felt like summer in the city!!!
Of course, the summer fragrances are not necessarily launched in January and February, but first the old stuff is brought to the people with red pawing pseudo discounts. Stoic as I am and blinded by greed, of course I was sausage. Full of zest for action, I headed straight for Mr. Ford, because soleil planc has remained so nicely in my memory and was immediately addressed by a dramatically made-up lady with: "Welcome to Tom Ford" as if he had to jump around the corner at any moment
I asked her to apply the soleil directly to my skin and meanwhile she told me that this was a fragrance from Mr. Ford's private collection (when is this Mr. Ford finally coming and greeting me personally). The private collection is exclusive (i.e. overpriced) and for people who know about fragrances. "Aha" I said, "what a pity, I really like it but unfortunately I have no idea about the material, otherwise I would have bought it". I left the lady and Mr. Ford
On the parfumo page I was shown soleil plein as a fragrance twin.
Ha!!!! I thought I'd show you Ford! So I single-mindedly reached for plein soleil with Mr. Yves, while I was quite confident of victory. I ran the two scents against each other, and they were actually similar... The first five seconds...ylang ylang and tuberose were the common denominator. But soon it turned out that plein soleil was the somewhat more corpulent, pimply sister. Plein soleil does not develop and remains linear, the fragrance somehow unloving and dull. Tuberose once again hardly lets any increment shine on her side and so she sultries. The delicate creamy texture is also missing. Well, it's not a bad scent per se, but in direct comparison to soleil blanc, unfortunately it failed completely!

Mhhhh...ewww!!!
Mmm, vanilla, caramel, my gourmand heart is doing somersaults! And then there's the price, a dream. So off to the big R and diligently on the wrist diesels. In bright anticipation, nose held on uuuuuand bähhhhh!!! what are the scent molecules doing for evil?! Where's my vanilla? I was promised caramels... Howl, wicked world!
Outside, I gasped for breath and ate a children's chocolate, while I read through the reviews again here. I bury my nose into my wrist excessively again... No, nothing, I smell undefinable disgusting water, sweetish, cheap, even for the price an imposition (ok, maybe a bit harsh but I am simply disappointed). I have nothing at all against cheap fragrances, on the contrary, I myself own some.
A week later I had to change trains at Frankfurt main station and the typical urine scent wafted around me. A woman or a man, I don't know, stalked me and pulled out of his jacket pocket a pink little bottle... So I'm out

Ode to Mom
I am a child of the eighties, yet this is only reflected in my passion for fragrances. Loud, sweet, opulent, always looking for THE smell!! It's nobody else's fault, Mom
I could describe my childhood by means of various scent memories. The first thing I noticed even before I opened my eyes in the morning was the good smell of my mother. The Sillage woke me gently, streaming from the bathroom into the bedroom. When I later became interested in perfumes, I gradually remembered all the scents. From Paris to sun moon stars. But unlike me, she used up bottle after bottle.
Since I became a mother myself last year and am now on parental leave, I like to combine our walks with short detours to my fragrance dealer, who, oh how wonderful, now bottles ten ml of fragrance for ten euros. Also packaging and flacons often attract me magically, so that I sweep the one or other note that I don't like nicely decorated under the said carpet. Could the '80s have been superficial too?
So I tested this Estee Lauder. The name also sounded promising. I took a short puff from the test strip, because little Parfumo started nagging and heard nothing disturbing, so take it with you and get out.
While walking I sprayed the scent on my wrist and waited. A sweet, juicy scent blew around me on this sunny January morning, it must have been the apricot. He looked incredibly familiar to me. Rose and lily of the valley woo the carnation a little, but quite unsuccessfully. Medusa dressed in fine satin, eating honey bread while the snakes spit apricot jam. He's not going through much of a development. The scent has, how else could it be, a high radiance and lasts on my skin for eight hours until it is very weak. You will be noticed in any case with this Sillage and some people might even get an alien headache. Fragrances of the 80s unite you :))
Memories of beautiful hours interpreted in a modern way, because a little bit of Lush shop is also included. Similarity to sun moon stars and Narcisse are clear. My mother loved to wear both fragrances. So may my little perfume grow up with a fragrance DNA, which he connects with love, trust and beautiful memories
