No fragrance has enchanted me about women as much as this one so far, unfortunately, it is rarely smelled.
Truly a wonderful composition that includes style, elegance, an oriental-mysterious essence, and also a huge dose of sex appeal.

short men's statement
...this comment is really only helpful in one respect:
By saying that this perfume drives me crazy for women. But in a very good way :)

simply intense!
I’m turning off the switch for objectivity right at the beginning of this comment... because I am truly infatuated with DHI. While I can’t really rely on much perfume expertise and haven’t smelled the often-discussed predecessors / old formulations of DHI, for me, this is simply a scent of the century. So masculine, so sexy, so warm, and above all extravagant, I have never experienced anything like this with any other perfume. The development of the fragrance is incredibly interesting, from the unique lipstick-powder note to the woody-vanilla and finally to the wonderful cocoa note in the drydown. I haven’t had DHI for long, and every time I apply it, I am enchanted by the scent cloud that envelops me... yes, I even catch myself feeling joy on the street when, as the wind shifts, I smell my own perfume on me! The longevity is also sensational; even a day later, my wrists still smell of fine cocoa. And the price is really very good for an EdP (50€ for 50ml). I can’t say anything about the feedback on the scent yet, but I don’t really care about that, because I love it on me and will definitely wear it for a very long time.

My Summerlove?
After my Versace pour Homme disappointment (see comment there), I found myself once again in the perfumery I trust, finally looking for a suitable summer fragrance.
Among others, candidates like YSL L'Homme, Boss Pure, Chanel Allure Homme Sport, and Guerlain L'Homme ended up on the strip, respectively on my wrist.
Despite the somewhat divided opinions about BdC, I wanted to give the fragrance a chance... and it convinced me.
Of course, it is (like most truly fresh "summer fragrances") not a showstopper with incredibly unique scent nuances, but it radiates exactly what I had hoped for:
Freshness, coolness, class, zest for life.
And that in a subtle, unobtrusive, as already mentioned "cool" manner.
The only real downside: on me, at least to my nose, it fades very quickly on the skin, whereas on clothing, the hint of Chanel lingers for a long time. I may need to dose a bit higher after all.
Nevertheless: BdC definitely has the potential to become a summer classic for me, and I am already looking forward to testing it "in action" soon.

Griff into the Blue Toilet
...my first perfume blind buy, and certainly my last.
Due to the somewhat enthusiastic comments here (e.g. from Leimbacher) and some top placements in "Perfume Year Charts," I ended up at Versace in search of my summer scent for 2013.
The price-performance ratio seemed to be right, and the scent characteristics matched my expectations.
My disillusionment came right after the first application:
The fragrance does indeed exude the promised aquatic-citrus freshness, but even with a light application, it is so overpowering that I found myself desperately washing my wrists and forearms in the bathroom after about 1 hour. Furthermore, the scent shows no real development for me and comes across as very synthetic at times (the term "toilet stone" was already mentioned here, right?).
To make matters worse, I realized after the first application that I had smelled VpH a few years ago at a friend's place, and back then I already found it very, very intrusive and almost exhausting.
Unfortunately, the pretty little bottle now has to make its way back home, and my search for a suitable summer scent continues into the next round.
