Like thunder from a clear sky...
I read about it but I never experienced !
Yesterday morning, I got up and decided to finally put on Taklamakan bought back in August from Notino. Quite confident and full of enthusiasm, I sprayed the perfume 4 times (standard in the shape of a cross). And then, madness, disbelief! The only thing I felt was pure alcohol! But nothing at all! ZERO! Not a single note!
I immediately thought, covid-19. I took the first perfume that came to my hand, then the second, then the third ... And everything is fine. Not Covid-19! But Taklamakan, absolutely nothing! My wife who also woke up says, REDUCE THE EXPERIENCE, YOU WILL BEAT US ALL WITH THAT PERFUME!
OK I think to myself. Olfactive Fatigue probably. I’ve been pushing perfumes with amber, vanilla and benzoin too much these days. I'm comforting myself, it will pass, everything will be fine.
And then, the worst thing - that day, 7 people told me, '' What magnificent creation are you wearing today? YOUR PERFUME IS TIMELESS ''!
And I, I only feel medical alcohol. I can't even smell the perfume from the bottle.
Here, it's been 2 days and I don't know what's happening to me. It's just amazing that a man can be so sad about perfume.
Perfume anosmia probably, but on what? Definitely not for fragrant ingredients because I don't feel a single note. Only alcohol.
Maybe some binder component in the composition, maybe a fixative ... I don't know. The problem is that I wonder, is that component in all SHL perfumes ?
To my great regret, the environment reacts fantastically to Taklamakan. But it seems that we will have to part because, we wear perfume primarily for ourselves. Although...

Gentleman's perfume
Beautiful patchouli. Vetiver and leather are also noticeable. It only transforms in the first half hour and in the last half hour. In the meantime, linear. Very similar to the edt version. Just more rounded and much calmer. Edt is a brawler, edp is more calm and plays on experience. Definitely NOT for cold weather as it starts to project only in a warm room. Performance, as well as edt. About 4-5h and then settle with the skin.

My son who was next to me says - OLD MAN, LET'S RUN OUT, the police will arrest us!
The saleswoman says nothing. I think she went blind.
Somehow the two of us find a way out of the perfumery. Blindly.
I'm thinking, MOTHER OF GOD, HOW WILL I TAKE THIS OFF MY SKIN!! I immediately put on a jacket to cover my arm (even though it's 30 degrees outside). I'm going to need sandpaper.
And then, on the way out of the perfumery, I meet an ex-girlfriend who tells me without a single word - WHAT PERFUME DO YOU WARE ON, I HAVE NEVER SMELLED ANYTHING BETTER !!!
About tastes, definitely do not need to be discussed!

Real beast!
With this perfume, there is no compromise. On my skin, extremely linear. Strong, powerful, impossible not to notice. It is impossible to remain indifferent. You can hate or love him but you can’t keep quiet about him. Noticeable Black Afgano DNA.
For summer ...? I'm not so sure. Yesterday around 7 in the morning I applied 3 sprays on myself. What a mistake. It was 27 degrees outside and I "killed" everything around me within a radius of 10 meters!!! I think I also caused the oxidation of the metal surfaces where I passed. After 36 hours (two showers), it is still noticeable on the skin! You just can’t get it out of your system so easily.

Perfection
This is Tom Ford Gray Vetiver on steroids. More powerful, stronger, rawer and longer lasting. Opening like when someone pulls a vetiver out of the ground and hits you in the face directly. Tobacco flower and Tonka bean are in the background. One of the best vetiver perfumes on the market.
