Raspberry purée lemonade
This perfume is what Aquolina Pink Sugar would smell like if Ralph Lauren were in charge of recreating it. Elevated raspberry citrus cotton candy that anyone could wear, from their teenage years to 80+. It took a while for this scent to show up on my radar, and I'm surprised it's not more popular. YouTuber Kathleen Lights recommended this scent to Libras, and while I'm not much for the zodiac, she was spot on with this!

It has moderate projection, but I actually love that quality about it. There is a translucence that keeps the sweetness from becoming all too much. The cashmeran lends a cozy aspect, and it dries down a bit powdery, fruity and musky, with florals weaving very lightly through the background. For me, Beyond Romance is a scent of happiness and inner youth that shines throughout.

11 11: Make a wish
The rollerball oil version of this fragrance has become a true staple in my collection. It's a scent to wear anytime, anywhere and know it will never be too much in any situation. It's very uplifting, ethereal, yet also cozy; a truly optimistic fragrance. The scent leans a little sweet, ozonic, with clean white musks and accomplishes this beautifully without any resemblance to laundry detergent.

I've also tried the EDP spray in this scent, and actually don't care for it. I was browsing the Lake & Skye website and noticed the rollerball oil & EDP have different ingredients listed.

The EDP fragrance ingredients include: cinnamomum zeylanicum bark oil (Ceylon cinnamon), ethylene brassylate (synthetic musk), vanillin, and pogostemon cablin oil (patchouli oil). The rollerball oil fragrance ingredients are calone (synthetic molecule with ozonic, marine-like qualities), cyclomyral (fresh, ozonic aroma chemical), ethylene brassylate, galaxolide (synthetic musk), tetramethyl. So, it makes sense to me that I would adore one but not necessarily the other, since they have quite different fragrance ingredients. Do get your hands on the rollerball oil to sample though, it's a beauty!

The Best Day
This scent embodies simple, unburdened childhood pleasures. Imagine you're having a really delightful, calm day because Mom took you on a field trip to Whole Foods market earlier to gather all the finest ingredients for a DIY Play-Doh recipe. You snack on a bowl of fluffy marshmallows while assembling your craft project together at the kitchen table. Gentle beams of sunlight dance and radiate through the open windows and wisps of early Spring wind drop by to tickle your face. A mélange of blanched almond flour, pink Himalayan rock salt, plant-based food dyes, organic vanilla & almond extracts unify, and for a moment, you're tempted to give your concoction a taste. Life feels so easy today.

A Cozy Wonderland
A cozy, spiced amber rooibos red tea blend with zesty bergamot and orange oils added. A perfect scent for book-loving introverts who enjoy diving beneath the surface. I could picture this as the signature scent of a perfectionistic writer living in Maine, gazing through his home office windows every day, searching for inspiration in the snowbanks piling up outside. (On second thought, am I subconsciously conjuring Stephen King here? Ha! Minus the perfectionism.)

A tea shop down the street from my house used to sell a rooibos blend called Winter Palace Marzipan, and this does indeed share a resemblance with that; it's only missing the papaya, almond, and hazelnut oils. This is my favorite warm tea fragrance tested thus far, but it would be strictly a cold weather scent for me. I find it in a similar vein to Teisenddu Frassai, but with more nuances.
