Recently I received this fragrance and what can I say. He is very nice, no 10, but still really good.

But what impressed me more was the feeling he could convey! A little more about that later.

To the flacon, Arabian Oud fragrances do not have the best flakons, the quality is okay, but partly below designer level, the sprayer is ok, however, this one really only sprays a breath, felt 1/3 what otherwise comes out of other fragrances :) he probably wants to be dosed sparingly ;)

The fragrance starts slightly spicy and a bit tart, you can imagine it roughly like a mixture of Carlisle and Grand Soir. But he quickly becomes sweeter, amber which smells excellent joins and harmonizes perfectly with the other components!

He slowly becomes warmer, darker, vanilla I also smell, but clearly less than the amber and incense. So he stays a while, a very nice fragrance that must not hide even from "Carlisle | Parfums de Marly" or "Grand Soir | Maison Francis Kurkdjian"!

Perfect for cold days!

But then comes this turning point, the oud comes to the fore, and that has it in itself, it makes this fragrance really what special for me.

Since it is this beautiful dirty oud, sexy, dark somewhat dirty but not too animalic. And together with the sweetness of the amber and vanilla, just great.

You smell the scent, it smells nice, and then a moment later you smell the oud, and you think, yes that smells kind of dirty and smirks at that, but just a sexy dirty.

It is not a fragrance for every day, but for the one or other night, he is certainly more than suitable :D

He is elegant, dark, sexy, unisex

Conclusion

He will certainly not everyone like, just because of the oud and the smoke, but if you like oud, and like to stand out, then this is just right, the fragrance smells very high quality, in no way artificial and is really potent ;) (no phun intented)

A Grand soir in dirty dirty ??

Expectations VS Reality
So now it goes Reflection 45 to the collar :)

I was always a fan of "Reflection Man | Amouage" and wanted to buy me a bottle again, as I learned that this extrait version should appear. My eyes shone not bad.

Full of anticipation I started a sharing and many dear Parfumus / Parfumas made with. 450€ changed hands and I was still happy.

What were my expectations now? An "Ombre Nomade | Louis Vuitton" or "Nouveau Monde | Louis Vuitton", but just as "Reflection Man | Amouage" a strong radiant fragrance, power without end, wonderfully composed and simply sets a statement! And not only strikes me and delighted!

The package from Oman arrived quickly and without problems. I pulled out my sharp pocket knife and carefully opened the package! The packaging is the standard Amouage packaging, but the bottle is a poem, for me quite easy the most beautiful bottle I have.

Sublime he stands there, typical amouage, and in addition the color games of the reflections, just great! The sides are vaporized with a chrome layer. In addition, the loop around the neck, So the detail richness and the execution is excellent!

Magnet cap off and the first spray, hmm interesting, tangier, spicier than the original. It smells wonderful. The cardamom is dominant there for me. It is joined by some pepper and lavender. And only very light floral notes, round out the whole thing. (However, without these metallic floral notes the reflection you have made so unique)

Overall, much less floral, not as sweet and clean. It seems much more masculine and adult, also a bit edgier, not as round and soft as the original.

The opening is really great made! And also sets off very clearly from the original.

The fragrance becomes a little sweeter and powdery (vanilla, iris) as it progresses
Woods are added also the incense is wonderful to recognize. Vetiver puts the composition its I dot on, with its light fruity note, overall very intense and very very nice!

A great fragrance! The drydown is my clear favorite. Wonderful!

You could smell it for hours! Can you fortunately also, because the durability is very good, from the fragrance alone he is clearly in my top 10!

But now we open times the eyes and come together to reality!

The sillage is worse than the original! We are talking about 450€ for 100ml! He smells absolutely wonderful, no question, but this is so disappointing to me. Extrait or not. Then I would have preferred an Edp!

How does Louis Vuitton create such strong fragrances like Ombre Nomade or Nouveau Monde?
Which smell wonderful, with a great progression and wonderful notes that can make a lasting statement. A fragrance that remains in memories! And fills rooms. That's what I expect at least in this price segment.

Amouage delivers here indeed a fragrance that is without a doubt just as beautiful as the above, but unfortunately became as fleeting as the moment that just passed.... (unless you press the nose on the skin flat, then you have longer what of it)

An olfactory snack, so you could describe it. Superbly arranged no question, but that's not quite enough for me, unfortunately!
If you revive perhaps the most famous Amouage fragrance, then you can expect the complete package.

It would have been preferable to me, he would not be so beautiful, then the disappointment would also not be so big just. And as is often the case, this sentence from my best friend is also true.... EXPECT NOTHING, THEN YOU WILL NEVER BE DISAPPOINTED :)

It is a fragrance for you, others will not be able to perceive him, at least by far not as you would wish. Maybe he should also be exactly like that? One does not know!

What I can tell you, however, it is a beautiful fragrance with a unfortunately much too weak sillage, and if you like reflection, you will also love this one. Whether it is worth it, however, you must decide for yourself!

Thanks for reading.

LG Deniz.

The search continues :)

Addendum to the durability after a total of 3 days and 3 tests, it is very good, you can smell the scent even loose 12H later on the skin. And he still smells wonderful.

The sillage is quite ok for about 1h, but after that he becomes much too quickly a skin scent on me. There was even a great compliment at the gas station, 45 min after spraying on.

Another hour later, a friend, on my demand, could not smell it (1m-1,5m distance), he did not notice the scent. And he usually comments on all my perfumes.

The Freshi atypical for me
I was looking for something fruity that smells delicious. And is well wearable at warm temperatures. But none of these "typical" freshis is.

I've tried quite a few, Kirke, Erba Pura, Burlington, Tygar.... to name just a few, But it has never really fully convinced me.
By chance I came across Rosso Pompei and I really wanted to test it.

Now I hold it in my hands (the bottle is very stable, by the way... I could check during an unplanned drop test) :D

The cap is heavier than the bottle itself, and the red does not match the fragrance, but looks very good. The label on the front is leather, I am quite excited about this presentation. Very high quality.

The fragrance:

After the first spray I first notice something grape, no particularly synthetic grape, rather simply something fruity sweet. It comes but quickly the grapefruit to it, sour / tart but also fruity sweet, for this are probably the two grapefruit varieties in the duft pyramid are responsible. Very tangy, refreshing a bit tart and really tasty. So I would describe the opening.

The grape takes only a small role, the main players of the opening as far as fruit is concerned, are clearly the grapefruit and lemon. With green and floral notes in the background.

The tart fruitiness of the perfume is my absolute favorite in the top note :) really great.

One recognizes proximity to fragrances such as "Burlington 1819 | Roja Parfums" and "Le Gemme - Tygar | Bvlgari" whereby I think it is closer to the Tygar.

It becomes woodier and also more floral as it progresses, but I personally don't smell any of the florals out separately, in my opinion it rather serves to round off the woody notes a bit and create a softer overall picture. It harmonizes very well with the freshness and sweetness of the fruits. It is a very dense fragrance experience, not airy, but dense and intense.
And always with it is this light fruity tart note, which I like so much.

The late drydown loses some of the refreshing effect, it becomes warmer softer, less woody and remains fruity with an even clearer sweetness. In this later phase, he is more with fragrances like "Erba Pura | XerJoff" the has zb. a similar drydown.

Overall, a very nice course, which I liked from start to finish.

Performance:

Even after showering, I smelled him still on the wrist.

The performance is well above average, he projects really well, the scent is very intense, and will certainly be well perceived.

Also I think he should like most of the him smell. And with security for one or the other compliment Sorgen.

It is a perfume that you could really wear every day, in summer or winter, no matter.

A simple fragrance, not very challenging, for the wearer or for bystanders, but really wonderfully implemented.

Unisex, with a evtl very very slight tendency into the masculine, but ansolut unrestricted also for women tragbar.
He smells somehow adult, but also very modern.

For me, with Rosso Pompei the search for a fruity delicious summer fragrance "for now" has an end :D
i am very satisfied, and can now finally what for me new, wear in the summer :)

Where I should mention in conclusion, Tygar and Burlington zb. are both also really excellent fragrances. Which serve the same purpose.
Erba pura and Kirke is also loved by many. And also go in a similar direction.

Ultimately ;)

it is simply a question of your own taste, which will be your favorite. So test and try before you order fragrances ;)

A really good release from Tiziana Terenzi.

I will compare it further and possibly the review Updaten.

Thanks for reading.

Is it really just a dupe?
Wear just a sweater that still smells like burdèl, it had me 3 days ago sprayed on the wrist to compare as so often, 2 or 3 düfte or test :) And the perfume is still very clearly perceptible on the sweater. Do that every now and then. With all possible fragrances and samples I have.

But how does Burdèl smell?

Opening.

Shortly after spraying, it smells as wonderful as hardly anything else. Bergamot, fresh spices something cool, slightly sweet and in the background these woody notes. It reminds one already strongly of "Oud Stars - Alexandria II (Perfume) | XerJoff" the oud remains woody, dry, clean and never goes in a stale or dirty direction. Thus, even oud newcomers will enjoy this fragrance. One notices immediately the high concentration of the perfume, it remains an oily film on the skin.

The opening is for me the most beautiful part.

A smooth 10.

The rest of the story.

The freshness and fruitiness slowly goes into the background and to the appearance come more and more the woody and spicy notes. However, one has Burdèl always this fresh bergamot in the duft course, at least at me. And exactly this also distinguishes it from "Oud Stars - Alexandria II (perfume) | XerJoff"
Together with vanilla comes a slight sweetness to it, but wonderfully done. Very elegant, yet sexy. Never penetrating or too much of a good thing, although the performance is really convincing. The delicious lemon cake already hits it, as many describe it.

This perfume is almost perfectly balanced.

A 9

Drydown

In the drydown it changes only marginally. He remains woody, slightly fruity, sweet and above all sexy. He radiates something that I find very attractive and erotic. Especially in drydown.
You always smell your arm, so at least I feel that way :) it could be the cardamom with vanilla and the oud. That makes it so delicious.

Conclusion.

Burdèl reminds one really clearly of "Oud Stars - Alexandria II (perfume) | XerJoff"
(Provided of course you know the XerJoff) :D

However, you wear both simultaneously, so you also recognize the differences better.
For me, it is more masculine, fruity and fresh, thereby it also has that certain extra that I was missing with AlexII.
It is not a dupe, rather a new interpretation or further development. I do not mind the similarity, am of course more than satisfied with it, as you could see from my review :)

The XerJoff is a wonderful perfume. And I love the fragrance. Nevertheless, TT with Burdel has managed to still improve an almost perfect fragrance. Since I persöhnlich exactly that was missing with Alex.

If you own Alex you need now but not run to buy Burdel. You have with Alex a unisex classic, which will always be special.
People who did not like AlexII, Burdel will also not like. For this they are too similar.

The bottle is beautiful, the sprüher average, the presentation excellent.
The price on offer unbeatable. (Please do not pay 390€ for it)

Performance well above average.
Almost all year wearable, in too warm temperatures I would recommend something else.

Unisex - masculine.
Age from 25 - XX
Disco, bar, restaurant or whatever. Almost always wearable.

For sports or shopping in the supermarket, it is too fine and special, take for it rather something lighter and cheaper :)

It will probably never become as popular as "Oud Stars - Alexandria II (Perfume) | XerJoff" but those who were able to discover it, will certainly not regret it :)

Thanks for reading

California Car Scents
Now before I get my two cents in....

First of all, many thanks to AlexZ made me aware of this fragrance, even sent me a sample, but this unfortunately never arrived :( but the will counts :)
And also to the dear Timo18 from which I then finally got a sample.
Many thanks to both of you.

What strikes one immediately is this raspberry, and indeed a sau good, delicious sweet raspberry, I smell little to no oud but only a slight leather note in the background.

On me it's pretty linear, only the fruity fades and leaves the leather and vanilla the supporting roles, in the later duftverlauf. The floral notes I do not smell.

One might think the raspberry is artificial, but actually it is not. It has such a slight fizz that makes it smell a bit unnatural, but I like it that way.

It's not meant to sound pejorative at all when I say it reminds me of those Car scent cans.

But it does have that slight Car Scents touch. I have rarely smelled something more fruity in scent form.

Now imagine you open this Scent can of raspberry/cherry/vanilla sitting in a car with very fine dry leather. No heavy leather, but quite light, fresh, clean and not a bit animalic.

That's about how it smells to me. London you can actually always wear, I would have no problem with it even in the summer, ideal party fragrance. Very very sexy.

And for me as not a big leather fan, by far the best leather fragrance I have tried so far. Like Liwa, London is also a very soft fragrance. Whose individual notes harmonize perfectly with each other. And except for the leather and raspberry are difficult to select for me, it is a feel-good fragrance. A modern fruit/leather fragrance variant that will hardly not please anyone. Compliments guaranteed.

Performance was also ok, not extremely good like an Ombre Nomade. But sufficient. Sillage must still be tested.

London is Great and will sooner or later probably land in my collection.

LG Deniz
