Elegant everyday fragrance with room for improvement in terms of durability

Unfortunately, the longevity on the skin is not impressive at all. After about 3-4 hours, the fragrance is barely perceptible on my skin. Nevertheless, the price/performance ratio is right for this everyday companion.
If you are looking for a discreet, good fragrance and can accept the moderate durability, you will not be disappointed by

Man is that good...
I didn't know I needed this fragrance until recently... but Althair by Parfums de Marly has quickly become one of my favorite fragrances for the cold season.
In my opinion, the perfect combination of sweet, warm, spicy and delicious gourmand notes is a talking point around me. Some say it reminds me a little of Hubba Bubba from the good old days. However, I can confirm this with a maximum of 5%.
The longevity is impressive. The fragrance lasts all day on the skin, even several days on my clothes.
Yes, Althair is in the upper price segment, and it is debatable whether the price is justified. Nevertheless, I recommend anyone who is not yet familiar with this fragrance to give it a try.
A true revelation for me!

My "fear of flying buy"
Is this fragrance advertised in almost every board magazine of European airlines?
Do I have a fear of flying? Did I buy this fragrance simply out of nervousness and insecurity for my own distraction at over 10,000m above the country border from Germany to France? Yes, I did.
Now I'm sitting here and have hardly used this Hugo Boss fragrance in the last month. The bottle looks sturdy and sits well in the hand, the look is simple but chic. The color of the bottle and the name of the fragrance are well chosen and match the contents. Unfortunately, the lid cap looks quite high quality, but the spray head feels good when pressed and the atomization is solid.
To my nose, this fragrance is a fresh, masculine, rather shower gel-toothpaste scent. I detect eucalyptic notes, something woody-green and a little citrus. I can't detect the stated suede and tobacco for myself.
I think if I had been able to test this fragrance in peace, I would not have bought it. I don't think it's abysmally bad, but it's nothing special either. Considering that this fragrance is in the lower price segment, I find the P/L fair and understand if some users buy this fragrance as a good clean work/everyday fragrance.
For me it will stay in the collection for now, even if very rarely used, because it always reminds me of that crazy, nervous, head-over-heels, above the clouds purchase.

2.5 hours ...
... after spraying Afternoon Swim by Louis Vuitton on the pulse points on my wrists, I'm now sitting here, happy & disappointed at the same time, writing this fragrance review.
Two seconds after spraying it on, I was probably too curious too quickly and sniffed a very alcoholic note, which quickly subsided after a few more seconds. After about 20 seconds, a wonderful scent of juicy mandarins, oranges and a little ginger hit my nose. Very fruity, very summery. I was completely enthralled and had to smell it again and again. A poem, a fragrance that I would immediately give 10 points to.
If... it had stayed that way. After about half an hour, I noticed that the intensity of the fragrance began to fade. I thought a little was ok, and normal. After 1.5 hours, it was only slightly noticeable, and now - after 2.5 hours - you have to know exactly where to position your nose to recognize any of the scent at all.
Too bad. I understand the hype surrounding this fragrance, it smells wonderful. But I can now also understand where the big criticism about durability and sillage comes from. Especially as this fragrance is no bargain.
I would understand if someone is willing to pay the money for this beautiful fragrance, knowing that they will have to spray it again regularly. I myself would pass at the moment and go for stronger performance fragrances.
