Well,i sure can recognize the hand of Sophia Grojsman here. There are so many notes in this composition,i am not skilled enough to analyze them. All i can say is to me this smells like a true vintage in all its glory.
The packaging is stunning. There is this vase formed ,hand painted bottle,and inside the box is a tiny paper roll included,which tells the story of Bat-Sheba (or Betsebaa as i used to know her).
To be honest, the scent itself is not a true love to me, but i'm captured by the bottle and storytelling .

I have a miniature of this Calvin Klein classic from the time when it was still Calvin Klein Cosmetics ,instead of Coty.
Although i'm impressed with the quality of the perfume, and the originality (regarding it was late 80's),there's just a to strong carnation here involved for me to love it.

Inoui has become very rare these days, so i was very excited and happy to discover a miniature of her !
when i first applied her on my skin,on a summerevening, i felt a bit dissappointed. I had expected more,i felt she was a bit faint and on top off the bill i've got this terrible rash on my wrist, a red itching and burning spot that stayed with me for atleast 2 weeks!
Yesterday i' ve tried her again, very carefully on my sweater, and this time i do get her!
I think i recognize the hand of serge Lutens; pine , oakmoss and cedar lead me to a silent, foggy forest full of pines, beautiful and mysterious !
After a few hours, she shows her vintage character, and these kind of ladylike perfumes aren't just me.
I do respect her, but i don't love her, therefore she is to classic in the drydown.

I mostly agree with dolby.. to me this was a disappoitment also.
I was hoping to find a mysterious iris, but all i could find is something a bit smoked, the olibanum? I could'nt detect iris at all , just in the drydown a clean musk.
