THIS Guerlain is really nothing special and will be too "ordinary" for many people, a fruity and fresh standard mash. (I have to say: sometimes I like EXACTLY that, even the Escadas Limited Editions! ^^ So on some, not on all.)

And I didn't even want to be in on the sharing!
Currant?! Oh no, it stings me a lot and annoys me.
So, to be honest, I didn't expect much. ^^

Sprayed on.
Totally briefly something herbaceous (cypress? sage?) starts, but as soon as I can identify it, it's gone again. And then the top notes sizzle in a race, currant, pomegranate (keeps the currant in check), bergamot and lemon. Like in a cool, clinking glass of pomegranate spritzer with a shot of currant and a shot of lemon.
Nice and sweet, but still refreshing through the citrus fruits. A mini stem of sage is also included. Does not disturb at all, but only rounds off.

Later, finally, comes this beautiful musk, which fits so wonderfully into the red and citrus fruits here; with the previous tested Guerlain AAs, the musk in combination with my beloved vanilla disturbed me, that didn't fit my nose at all
But here the sweetness is clearly slowed down and finely accentuated. And when I inhale and exhale directly from my arm (i.e. when it gets "hot" on my arm where I sprayed), I can clearly smell the mossy smell, a little sage and a very fine rose, but the rose is rather "swallowed" by the currant

And another candidate on the wish list, but not until next summer... ;-)

At first I thought you were unimpressive. One of many. But as it is like that, you get in contact with everybody, and already at the first meeting you raptured me.

So incredibly enraptured. With your whole kind. Violet-blue eyes, your glass with water and a splash of lemon in your hand, your sandalwood horn glasses. At first I thought that Jasmine was your girlfriend. But thank God she's not. Just a distant friend.
That you powder yourself a little (with rice, as you said) is understandable on those hot days. You just don't shine. ^^
And you have a taste for vanilla and tonka
Like me. :-)

Later, I stalked you a bit, and honestly - That scared me off a bit. I guess you're one of those with lots of money. Are you snobby? Maybe I am. At least a bit hard to get, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

But as soon as we had a little more contact again, these concerns were wiped away. Each time, I was still enchanted for hours after our meeting. I wanted to spray my pillow with your scent! And how I would love to bury my nose in the bend of your neck and never come out again!

I'll give you a key to the front door real soon. You'll even get your own closet
Wellaaa, not quite one of my own. You'll have to share that space with some others. But I'm sure you'll have a good time with me. You may not be my number one, but I'm still a little in love. At least I'll let you move in. And we'll do lots of things together, because you like the same seasons as me: Spring, autumn and winter. In summer it's usually too hot for you (yes, your rice powder... ^^)

THE most wonderful powder scent I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, one of the most beautiful. Creamy, powdery, slightly sweet. This rice note, which annoyed me so incredibly in the Lipstick On at the end (prickly and pungent), is here simply skillfully inserted into the overall picture. There are no rough edges, nothing that stands out too much. And I just LOVE the DryDown.
It is very close to the body (almost a no-go at that price), but really so beautiful...

And yet he is special. Well, powder doesn't always work for me. :-) Above all I'm afraid that he might annoy me, which happens quite often, especially with the big bottle sizes

But okay, finger keeps twitching over the "buy" button... ^^

Good.
And now finally to the fragrance: It was somehow love at first sight, or rather, uh... first smell. Even sniffing the specimen, I thought "Oh, that smells nice!" Sprayed on... and everything fits. Front and back. Absolutely nothing gets on my nerves here, everything fits.
However, I'm now also thinking about whether I find it as beautiful as fragrance "X" or "Y" from my collection, and this one, despite its beauty, would definitely not be my first choice. (Until now.)

From the fragrance notes the NIE, but really NIE & NIMMER would have landed on my watch list! As with my signature, an inconspicuous specimen found its way to my nose ;-)

The flowers in the top note are not disturbing, they are so finely woven, and so beautifully sweet, as if they had been wrapped in cotton candy or dipped in soft sugar water beforehand. No turgidity, so wonderfully creamy, together with the base notes. Individual components my nose cannot sniff, but this fragrance smells to my nose like a mixture of "Tangier Vanilla" and "La Femme" by Prada.
Even this sweet rose, which I like so much in the "Tangier Vanilla", I sometimes smell here, if I press my nose properly to my wrist.
But it is much sweeter than "La Femme" and much more flowery than "Tangier Vanilla".

With this fragrance it's really like a secret rendezvous: you feel attracted to it and yet you keep your distance so as not to "destroy" this magic too soon. It fascinates me from the first moment on, but every now and then I had evenings where I only moderately liked it. I am torn, but I think he will move in sometime. ^^ Even if - once again - it is not a summer scent. I generally have a hard time with summer scents anyway.

For the summer, "Secret Rendezvous" is really nothing, but I also noticed that it can handle a little bit of warmth quite well to develop. Which makes the whole thing even more difficult for my personal carrying opportunities.

But not everybody wanted and had a secret rendezvous...?! ;-)

Gemma's kind of special
You have to warm up with her at first. I wouldn't go so far as to say you have to eat a bag of salt with her, no way. But just at the beginning of her visit, the start is usually bumpy, she comes across somehow slightly squeaky-synthetic, as if she was sucking a sweet tangerine-pear-sweet. She's not screeching now, but she's louder.
She's not really like that.
At the beginning I thought "Boaaaahhhh, no, she's funny, I hope she'll leave soon!" But I couldn't get rid of her that quickly

You can also notice this, if you spend a longer time with her, she becomes uncomplicated and pleasant.
Her favourite food is vanilla pudding, and she really likes wooden bowls and vases. When she comes to visit, she usually brings some jasmine, a little rose and a tiny lily of the valley for the wooden vase she gave me. It really smells so nice together, the flowers with the wood, and Gemma's vanilla pudding. This smell displaces the initial squeaky sweetness.

Our meetings usually last about 3-4 hours, then she doesn't feel like it anymore and says goodbye slowly but surely.
In summer we probably meet more often, in winter she probably never likes meeting friends so much.

The inclined reader probably asks himself: "Huh? Has she forgotten a few letters?!"
No, the perfume "K" by Dolce & Gabbana actually exists, it's for men, but 1. I think the bottle is pretty cool and 2. my girlfriend has it as a fragrance (otherwise I would have somehow never known about the existence of "K"! ^^). She likes spicy wummser, and I had the Dior Addict from her.

Launching it does it quite tangy-green and spicy. (I also smell something citric, but it's not in it according to the listing.)
But then the fragrance slides directly into a flattering combination of white flowers, orange blossom water and jasmine. The green notes, however, remain present all the time and prevent it from becoming too pungent. The vanilla comes much later and elegantly settles into the white flower bed, surrounded by jasmine and orange blossom.
The DryDown is vanilla-spicy with a slight sweetness. But the spice always remains subliminal, just like the Dior Addict.

Shelf life and silage are good
I'm wearing it today, but I'm going to give the AF to my girlfriend, because I know that I'm hitting the bull's eye with it, we are very different when it comes to fragrances, even if we have certain intersections (Black Opium EdP or Dior Addict).

For me it is a winter and evening scent. Today I wear bright red lipstick and am covered in black - with this scent even the bright red lipstick doesn't feel "too much" or "painted". :-) Spring and autumn were still possible or summery evening events.

The water is somehow noble and keeps its distance. When you are scented with it and write letters, you write "Sincerely" under it and not "Best regards", if you understand what I mean. :-) You keep your head straighter, your chin higher.
Fits for me also not at all to the couch and jogging socket.

I like it, but a touch too spicy for my taste. And probably because of the colour it reminded me of the "K" of my girlfriend, only really sweeter and creamier. So Pour Femme. :-)
