A Unique Twist on the Aventus DNA
Yet another fragrance with the Aventus DNA. Personally, I think Blockade is exceptional. The tart mango and tomato leaf take it to a place others, in my opinion, have not gone. Though not as mature, some may like it better than the OG. To me, it also resembles Xerjoff Nio.
Do NOT try this if you are fatigued by this DNA. The price point is woefully high. However, this one may be good enough to sample if you are still interested in an exceptional fragrance with the Aventus DNA.

Good to Above Average
Sedley, a refreshing spearmint and citrus scent, is a mature and approachable fragrance. It stands out without being attention-seeking. IMO Bleu de Chanel Parfum is superior, but Sedley surpasses standard designer blue fragrances like YSL Y and Sauvage.
Sedley is an excellent choice for daily and office wear. It is a perfect fit for spring and summer, but its versatility allows it to be worn year-round.
Unless you’re an avid collector, Sedley may not be worth the price. There are many superior fresh scents available at a fraction of the cost.

Smells Like Fun
I may be too mature for Pacific Chill, but I wear it anyway.
It lasts longer on my skin than it does on many who have written Parfumo reviews. I smell it on my skin for 7-8 hours. Though the scent and projection are strong the first 45-60 mins, they become attractively moderate for 3-4 hours afterwards. It is noticeable without being a distraction.
It’s quite strong at first, with a strong apricot and peppermint scent. But as it dries down, it becomes a really interesting, well-blended fruity scent without any rough edges. All the notes work together really well, in my opinion.
I must wear this more than I do! It’s unique to me, so I don’t reach for it instinctively like I do with other versatile fragrances in my collection, like Imagination, Hacivat, or Terré de Hermes. I think I’ll wear this more when I’m going to work, running errands, or just hanging out.
If you’re a fan of fruity scents, Pacific Chill or one of its clones is worth trying.

A Fruity Beast
Aïcan is sweet, creamy, and explosively fruity. The blend is excellent. Passionfruit is the star of the show and is complemented by a praline and vanilla base. The scent gets increasingly attractive as it settles down. If you like fruity gourmands, this was made with you in mind.
Aïcan is a beast mode performer with rare longevity, projection, and sillage. Be mindful of overspaying! Though a lovable scent, it is overpowering if you apply too much. I recommend no more than 3-4 sprays to enjoy it personally and to be kind to those nearby.
I have learned to apply Aïcan, but I still have to be in the mood to spend the entire day with it. It is not an easy reach for me. It is a heavy wear.
If I could do it over again, I would purchase a 5 ml decant instead of a full bottle.

Gourmet Gourmand
Angels’ Share is the best Killian fragrance I own or have sampled. It is top ten in my collection. IMO, Straight to Heaven is the only Killian scent that compares.
The opening features a boozy Cognac note. If you do not like boozy scents, do not judge it prematurely. Give it 15 mins. AS blends seamlessly with the other sweet notes, creating a gourmet apple pie scent. There is a lightness to the fragrance that adds to its appeal. Though boozy, you do not smell like alcohol.
I love the wearing experience. Angels’ Share is rich but not overpowering. The scent bubble it creates is energizing and cozy. Though a sweet gourmand, the perfume is not as dense or syrupy as gourmands can be. AS is a great performer but is pleasant and friendly to those nearby. I get 8-9 hours of longevity and 2-3 hours of moderate to great projection. Though unisex, it leans masculine to me.
Based upon my wearing preferences, Angels’ Share is much more versatile to me than others prefer. I wear it in the fall, winter, and spring, day or night, without reservation. With moderate sprays, I occasionally wear it to work. I am comfortable reaching for it in the summer if my time outdoors will be limited.
Good stuff!
