My first encounter with Wonderwood was a tester from my trusted perfumer.
Oh how fine smells then the?
The fragrance DNA has flashed me from the beginning. Before I knew Comme des Garçons not at all. The flacons have already caught my eye.
The fragrances have me to date but not interested at all. Until I smelled this.
The warm woods go very well together with the shot of pepper.
The fusion makes the scent special and works very well.
Wearable this is vorallem in autumn and winter. The H/S is in the normal range between 6 and 8 hours.
I will still put my nose in other fragrances from CdG and test them extensively. WONDERWOOD has already found its way into my fragrance closet.

I always thought Y Eau de Parfum was better than the EdT.
Last week I received a sample. And directly times sprayed on.
The freshness of the EdT is somehow not there. Or at least not as strong as the EdT.
In addition, the EdP smells much more synthetic than the toilette.
With me, the composition also gets a slightly musty touch, which I do not like at all.
As soon as it müffelt or oversweet works, everything is lost with me.
The durability is very good with me and the sillage strong and almost intrusive. Another point deduction for me.
I must therefore correct my rating.
The Eau de Toilette is definitely better and more pleasant and also much much fresher.
The EdP I can safely forget and check off.

Previously, I could not do anything with such fragrances.
Today I say "There is nothing more interesting than an oriental, spicy fragrance".
I don't even know if this one is oriental at all. But spicy it is. And so fine, round and wonderful that it gives you goosebumps.
I'm not usually such a Penhaligon fan. Blasted Heath reminded me of a wet dog. And the other ones I tested weren't that great either.
The Halfeti has exceeded expectations by 97.5%.
If you like "Journey" by Amouage, you'll like this one too.
He belongs in every Oriental collection. Also with me he will move in.

Why I'm reviewing a summer scent in the depths of autumn......no idea.
I just felt like it.
I've added Millesime Imperial to my collection.
My 6th Creed which honors me. Why I bought it....... It grabbed me right from the start. I was always afraid of the H/S. That's why I waited a long long long time.
Now it's here. And I am happy.
Of all the summer fragrances in my collection, this is probably the noblest. Sure the performance could be better. But extremely negative it has not struck me.
But the fragrance....mmmh so extravagant and classy.
Nothing comparable has come under my nose until now. The citrus, the musk and the sandalwood. Everything perfectly coordinated. Nothing is too much and from no one has too little. Simply perfect.
For me, next to Virgin Island Water and Aventus the best of Creed.

My very first real oriental fragrance that I bought was Journey by Amouage. This is also my first Amouage fragrance, which I have smelled.
He has not convinced me at the beginning.
But after about 2 hours I could not take my nose from the arm.
The tobacco becomes so soft and fine, as if I were in an oriental tobacco house far away from Europe.
And it's so portable. I love it with every breath. I had never smelled anything so spicy fine before.
I don't smell the bergamot at all. But it makes the fragrance the way it is. Unique, very very noble and wonderful.
This is a perfume for the seasoned man of the world.
I wear it in winter and autumn.
There he belongs.
The H/S is bombastic. But do not expect that you get compliments with the fragrance. He is just too special for that.
I also make the fragrance just for me on.
The bottle is also very beautiful and noble and belongs for me to the top ten of the most beautiful bottles.
I hope that this journey with Amouage still very very long.
