Avon Passion
Even though Avon has manufactured hundreds if not thousands of perfumes, I still get a little excited when a new one is announced. Typically I hold onto it for maybe a month, grow bored of it, and give it away. I held off buying this until there was a sale or more reviews on it. I fear this fragrance will suffer a similar fate; but for now, I am enjoying it.

The top notes are unremarkable. Starfruit and jasmine clash to make a very sweet, synthetic, almost vinyl/plastic accord. At first I thought, "another one bites the dust". Less than an hour later, I was treated to a creamy, sweet bourbon vanilla extract. I'm not one to usually wait for a dry-down because I would prefer to like my fragrance from beginning to end. I purchased a bottle of this for peanuts on eBay
(shipping cost more than the perfume itself). Given the price point, I don't mind waiting for that delicious, beautiful dry-down.

The bottle has some heft to it and doesn't seem cheap compared to other fragrances in its price range.

caramel vanilla
Despite the notes listed, I get a salted buttery caramel vibe from this. The drydown is a sweet bourbon vanilla liquor. It is quite heavy for summer, so I will try it again in the fall. Projection is vast as the sample sprayer I have sitting on my kitchen counter radiates out to the dining area. One spray is enough for me.

sticky sweet
I received the shower gel free with purchase some time ago. That one smells a lot like gummy bears in the shower; it doesn't linger on the skin much once I dry off though.

The edt is definitely sticky sweet, much like a lukewarm glass of artificially-flavored raspberry champagne. I can't say I detect anything else; the name amber is misleading. Longevity is poor and not any longer than the fragrance mist version.

I purchased Amber Blush for very cheap (75% at the semi-annual sale), so I wear it casually like a body mist. I still wish there was a candle that smelled like this though.

morphing perfume
This starts out extremely clean and fruity, very similar to a stick of deodorant. After an hour, it settles into a heavy amber/rose combination. It is suited better for cooler weather or evening wear. It is horribly cloying in the heat.

sort of what I was expecting, but not
After reading multiple reviews and looking at the notes over and over, I decided to blind buy a purse spray of this. It is definitely heavier than the perfumes I typically wear, a little too fancy for me really. I can't describe too well what I was smelling other than a sweet spicy floral. But I left it on as I went to bed. I woke up in the wee hours of the morning to get a drink of water, and this wave of candied nuts and vanilla hit me. I'm guessing that's the nougat coming through in the dry-down. The scent turned into a completely different scent over time.

I can't say this is worth a full bottle as I probably wouldn't be able to finish it. The mini spray is more than enough for me. The longevity of this fragrance on my skin was approximately 8 hours.
