Nice trip to India with Easyjet
Amazing fragrance!

First of all, costs 5.95€ during sales, no kidding. Is that possible? Yes it is! We can say that this is the best value for money in the world! Democratization of fashion and design at the highest level!

Technical data:
head notes: coriander, ginger.
heart notes: balkan tobacco absolute, saffron
base notes: vanilla, tonka, amyris, cistus absolute, cypriol, java wood
100ml bottle, black to dark brown glass

I could use another expression instead of flying with Easyjet, it could be: a nice flight in business class, paid less than 20.00€ during black friday. Yes it is affordable luxury.

First spray made me travel miles away! It smells chic, exotic, top quality. I've never been in India, so it is according to me a direct flight to Mumbai! It's a strong oriental spicy scent with good longevity and weak sillage, what we may call selfish pleasure. It's here for us, not for the crowd! It remains on the skin even after washing.

At the beginning of the journey, we get spices as described higher in the text and dark tobacco, with strong saffron, (it's, in my opinion, too much saffron) and the amazing drydown is full of vanilla and resinous notes, dark brown feeling.

Spicy, resinous almost earthy feeling, what an amazing trip!. Am I the only one remembering Opium EDP from Yves Saint Laurent in the drydown? Similar hot vanilla and no one said it before, here on Parfumo.

It is, in my humble opinion, top 3 Zara fragrances ever. It 's a 8.5 out of 10 scent! And an 11 out of 10 value for money!

I feel ashamed
Thank you Parfumo, I bought this one after reading the reviews and ratings, what a surprise!

What a reward!

After hitting 3 different Zara stores in the north of Portugal, I finally could put my hands on this amazing scent, so different, I didn't know 212 Vip Men from CH.

What can I say, I tried RWA first, and I thought to myself, buy the twin package, very affordable.

IDE turned into my perfect everyday/everynight scent, I like the initial freshness, turns warm in a short time, so first bergamot and apple fresh and fruity, and then comes the green: basil and mint, basil is prominent, basil lasts, and then come the woody notes, the dry down is pleasant and subtle with the tonka bean and a remain of the basil, my feeling is that the combination reminds what I call green tobacco, tobacco leaves before drying, before all the fermentation process, on the other hand, RWA is perfectly dried tobacco, RWA reminds me vanilla flavoured "cigarillos".

IDE is my favourite of the two, masculine, distinctive because it's rare, unusual (exclusive) not mainstream at all, I feel ashamed having so much pleasure wearing a Zara fragrance. RWA is almost feminine, I share it with my wife.

If we sum up the characteristics of IDE from ZARA:
UP: peculiar, not mainstream, affordable, distinctive, quality of the scent and bottle, masculine,
DOWN: longevity is the weakness, it doesn't last enough, and the projection is not as powerful as it should be, after a few minutes you need to refuel.

Almost a blind buy, go for it.

I'm confused.
I must say that I bought Legend by Montblanc because of the price, it was quite affordable (coffret with shower gel about 45€ for the 50ml bottle), I was tempted to buy it after trying it in 1 min or so. I have the highest respect for the Montblanc brand, and I was a happy owner of a Legend Night bottle. This one has nothing to do with the Night version.
The opening is very energetic, you receive a lot of fresh citrus and a bit of lavender (which I love) like a punch in the face. Vibrant head notes.
According to me, the problem with this scent is the heart, I think the floral notes are a mess, they' re confused, you don't get them clearly, the don't complete each other very well (rose and jasmine as described cause I don't get them), there is a woody note but I don't get the white cedar.
The base remains fresh, maybe the evernyl that I don't know that much. is a bit green, maybe too green, I was expecting much more warmth. The longevity is about 5-6 hours. Not that bad. Everyday scent, not too expensive. Not a first option in that "genre", try it out before buying. Good average fragrance. Nothing else. Not a "Legend" at all.

Jealous Guy #1
Feelings and memories are both what you get from a fragrance. I remember the first time I had to smell Caron Pour Un Homme. It was at a friend's house a very long time ago, I was a kid, about 8 yo. His father wore and still wears nowadays this amazing and overwhelming but calm scent. I said to myself:" I wish I could smell that good, just like him. Someday I will buy a bottle myself." I admit, I was jealous, and it lasted many years. As I was growing up, my interest for fragrances also grew up. When you are a kid and then a teenager, the fragrances you get are gifts from family members. I brought that memory during years till I could, one day, buy a bottle for myself. So proud, and so satisfying it is when you finally get what you want. Apart from the fact that I prefered the scent on him than on me, wow! Lavender, one of my top notes and vanilla that heats up the whole thing. Maybe this is too classic for a young man, but I didn't care. So it is fresh at the beginning, then gets warm, really well balanced because it could be too much lavender in one bottle but no. Just enough. That's why it is continuously on market, almost a 100 years!!! If it lasts, it's obviously above standard quality, and this one is exceptional! For lavender lovers and, like me, jealous guys that get inspiration from who is around. Obrigado senhor Francisco! Merci Caron! Vive la France!

Not for me, not for my skin, but very good on my clothes
Most of the time, Yves Rocher fragrances are considered cheap fragrances because of the price tag, sometimes under-estimated, I do believe that the price is not the main point when it comes to perfume. The main point to me is always the pleasure that it gives wearing it or the memories brought back thanks to it. In this case, it was a gift for christmas, and you don't offer a perfume as a christmas gift unless you know exactly the taste of the person. At the beginning, I dindn't like it at all, too old fashion, classic (in the wrong way...). It's powerful in the beginning, you don't feel the citrus that much but a green sensation, must be the cypress, and then floral, and mostly cedarwood, it doesn't last that much, maybe 2 hours. What is really interesting with this scent is the memory that it brought back. British fabric, british flannel, as a classic feel, can't explain, so the tip is to use this perfume for clothes, I spray it, once a week or so, on my clothes inside the wardrobe and voila, nice classic and enveloping scent on my clothes, mostly on the shirts, so good. Considering the affordable price, a very good way of using it.
