Hello! I am always reading up on BBW + VS reviews since they're some of my favorites, and noticed you've written some particularly excellent ones - just wanted to give you a shout out + to say thank you for this, and that I really appreciate your reviewing style! Including the release year is so helpful, and I can totally picture what the fragrance smells like based on your descriptions. I feel like sometimes the BBW + VS fragrances are overlooked in the fragrance world, so it's hard to find descriptive reviews of them - especially for some of the older releases. So thank you again!! I love reading your reviews 💖 Do you have a favorite BBW and/or VS fragrance in your collection (or if it's too hard to pick, a top 3)? Hope you're enjoying your weekend! 😊

I am so sorry! I am just noticing this now! My reply is 3 months late but better late than never! lol Thank-you so much for this message, so nice of you! Yes, I agree, I find some perfume enthusiasts can be big snobs when it comes to BBW and VS. I want to smell good at all times and I don't care if it's a 100 dollar perfume or a 5 dollar body mist that gets me there. hahaha Hmmm, let me think, my fave BBW scents are Boardwalk Taffy, Beach Nights, Raspberry Jam Donut, Bonfire Bash and Coastal Hydrangeas and a couple of the newer ones I've been loving lately are No. 3 Musk and No. 3 Lavender. (Plus I will always have a soft spot for Pumpkin Pecan Waffles.)
For VS, I love Coconut Passion, Bare Vanilla (and all its flankers) and Autumn Shore.
It's funny that I got your message today which just happens to be the first day of BBW Summer Semi-Annual Sale! I just placed an order! lol

Totally agree with you, it's silly that there's any snobbery about BBW/VS - as long as the fragrance smells good, who cares how much it costs! Just means more money saved for us, to buy more fragrances lol.

How would you say Bonfire Bash & Beach Nights compare to each other?
I just tried Coastal Hydrangeas for the first time, and was amazed - smells super refreshing and more expensive than it is!
Bare Vanilla & Coconut Passion are in my top faves too!! 🙌 Do you have a fave BV flanker? And PPW is classic!
Speaking of VS & coconut - have you tried VS Pink's Sweet Fig? It's creamy, sweet, musky - like if BBW Cactus Blossom + Brown Sugar & Fig had a baby. Sooo underrated!

Yes yayyy for BBW SAS! 🎉 What are you enjoying most from your SAS haul so far??
Loooove BBW's SAS & Candle Day (do you enjoy their candles too?) - I don't know about you, but they feel like mini holidays to me lol!
My fave BBW scents are probably Vanilla Bean Noel (I saw you love that one too!), Pear Creme Brulee, Plumeria, Bourbon Strawberry Vanilla (the older version), Coconut Lime Verbena, and Fresh Vanilla Blossoms (have you tried that one?).
And for VS, I love the same ones you mentioned! As well as Sweet Fig, Moon Spiced Apple, and the Love Spell La Creme flanker (very different from Love Spell and such a unique, gorgeous floral!). Are there any BV flankers you still want to try?
I also just wanted to say that your collection is sooo impressive!!! Do you have any other top faves in your collection outside of BBW/VS? Any favorite notes?

Boardwalk Taffy is the same as Cotton Candy Clouds and Whipped Berry Meringue so if you have either of those, you already know what it smells like. lol
Bonfire Bash and Beach Nights don't smell alike to me. I love them both though. Bonfire Bash is smokey and kind of vanilla-ish but Beach Nights smells like fresh air, s'mores and drift wood. Sounds kind of strange but I really love it!
My fave BV flanker is likely Bare Vanila Golden because it sort of reminds me of Kayali Vanilla 28 which I love.
I haven't tried VS Sweet Fig but I love BBW Cactus Blossom and Brown Sugar and Fig.
I think so far, from my SAS haul, I'm probably enjoying my Tahiti Island Dream mist the most. I honestly prefer it over the Wild Madagascar Vanilla, which didn't knock my socks off.

From the BBW scent you mentioned, I have 4 of them but I have the new Bourbon Strawberry Vanilla which I've heard isn't as good as the old version. I don't have Coconut Lime Verbena or Fresh Vanilla Blossoms. I did test Fresh Vanilla Blossoms when that collection first came out but I wasn't in love with it and got Cozy Vanilla Bourbon instead because I really loved it.
I think I'm good with all my Bare Vanilla's for now, I have a good amount. lol Truthfully, I don't need any new fragrances at all, I need to use up what I already have first!
I love anything vanilla so anything with a vanilla note is going to get my attention. I've been really loving anything with Neroli in it lately. Mainly Banana Republic Neroli Woods and I find that BBW Gingham Unstoppable smells just like it so I had to get one of course. lol
How about you, any fragrances that you've been loving lately???

Oh interesting - did you ever try Tutti Dolci White Mocha Kiss? It sounds like it possibly smells similar to Beach Nights. I miss the Tutti Dolci line!
Hearing how you love BV Golden makes me want to try it again - I can't remember what it smelled like when I tested it, but it sounds like a staple vanilla.
You're right, they did a great job on Tahiti Island Dream this year - I'm glad you snagged it and are enjoying it! And totally agree, Wild Madagascar Vanilla left much to be desired.
Ahhhh another candle fanatic!! I love them so much too, and I love seeing peoples' collections! No 12 steps here lol - I'm an enabler, so I always encourage more collecting of the candles 😂 Do you have any top favorites??

I'm a sucker for vanillas too - always have to try them! But I hear you about needing to enjoy what we already have. Not as fun sometimes lol, but truth!
Also yay for BBW Gingham Unstoppable being identical to Banana Republic Neroli Woods, especially since the BR one is discontinued now right? Affordable dupes are the best 🙌🎉 so glad you found one hooray!! That is the best feeling 🥳

Oh my goodness, I have so many candles that it's actually sick! lol You name it and I probably have it stashed away somewhere. The large majority is from Bath & Body Works but I also have some from Gooseberry Creek and an assortment from where I work (Winners/Homesense.)
Yes, I do have Main Street Bakery, 2 of them actually. lol You hardly ever see banana scented candles so I had to have it! Also I have the first version that came out and the packaging got me, it's so cute!
You mentioned Plumeria, I love that body mist, I bought 2 but I knew my friend would love it so I gave 1 to her! She loves it too! lol
