really liking this. the more i smell it, the more unisex it is. im taken by the lemony, rosey oud. this is a 'heavy' dense scent. its eveningy elegance ranks among naxos & dubai gold. 7.5 > 8.5 rating
avoid overspraying this. 3 neck sprays is headache-inducing.

rose takes the stage on initial spray for 4 mins (leaning 90% feminine), until oud surfaces to equally share the spotlight.
3 mins later, the leather appears to smooth everything out.
then it gets a lil minty, as the oud falls back.
im a note novice, but it could be the rose's reaction to another note freshening it up.
'mint' then sweetens to be a bit lemony, but remains 'fresh' & classy at around 65% fem, as rose enjoys a well-rounded dominance.

i didnt get a hit of the other notes, but again, i have not yet well trained myself to. more suitable name would be 'fresh rose'

this is better suited for cooler weather, & would suggest on a 25+ female.
outside of layering, aoud night appeals to me not.

* my current montale fav is chocolate greedy. oud tabacco disgusted me & i scrubbed it off after 15 mins. will give it another shot, another time

al-rehab's lord is a trip to the early 80s when men's cologne spoke in Volumes!
typical super Loud, barbershop style scent that needs just 1 spray to last over 20 hours… seriously. easy on the pump to avoid headaches. this is said to be a knockoff of ysk kuros & ted lapidus por homme.

wear this outdated scent with ur shirt unbuttoned halfway & get all the attention you want - good and bad.

the older ladies may get nostalgic & pounce on u

i have not yet experienced the original rose prick,
but i knew beforehand this was feminine scent i'd be trying to pull off.
not loud, but rather soft & delicate, though hearty & robust.
quite silky & enveloping.
3 different types of roses give it this warm & full charm.
this would be excellent on a female, but i likes it on me too.
the patchouli & tonka really play their parts in adding masculinity to this mixed rosebush
creamy, floral, powdery, niceness
i expect to be layering 2 sprays of this with 1 spray of something very woody in hopes of a nice
cabin fireplace feel

*alexandrias dont project like duas, but its 40% less expensive & they both do a great job

when i really got into scents almost 2 years ago, my 1st (fragrancex) purchase of 3 bottles covered 3 criteria. my order included
an all-rounder/easy grab (dylan blue),
warm/daytime scent (artisan pure),
& prada l'homme intense (pli), which was chosen for cool weather/evening wear.

the initial pli spray was more than satisfactory & just what was required on that rainy evening.
i imagined the light evening fog as my (slightly) sweet, iris-scented bubble. the powdery facet was like being in a warm, fuzzy cloud. this stuff is awesome.

the dense, but very clean scent reminds me of opinions i read suggesting that pli's classy, laid back vibe was well-suited for a groom. i agree, but this works casually also.

i will give a light breakdown, as i'm not yet "nose-worthy" enough to be more detailed.

scent: 8.5 sweet, clean, fresh, powdery, dense, gentlemanly/classy, evening-suited iris
projection: i dunno
longevity: approx 3 hours total scent bubble, then skin scent for remaining 5 hrs
versatility: 6/10 exclude warmer weather & sporting/outdoor activities
age group: 35+
wearing: from casual button-up or sweater with dark denim/slacks (no baseball cap or athletic sneakers)
up to tuxedo
sprayer: 10 a spray is 1 ft long, 7 in wide, 0 drip
bottle: 6/10 nice style, but 4pts off for opacity
overall: 8/10

*pli was recently axed...glad i grabbed 1

i blind buy mostly all my frags online (artisan pure included) & so far so good.
thanks to youtube reviewers who actually describe scents so well, that i blind buy with confidence.

got this about 18 months ago & its my reigning beach scent. its classy feel puts me in the mixed cocktail mood all the way thru sundown.

office-friendly lemony fresh scent with very modest projection.
over spraying is only bad the first 5 mins then its ok, as its not strong/intrusive.
scent dosent really change, but after a few mins the initial sharpness dies down & its then slightly creamy lemon aside faint woods till the ride is over.
the sprayer is nice. bulky bottle tho. i recommend a travel atomizer

its a shame its now discontinued
