I was lucky enough to someone offer me a sample of Carlisle. When I smelled it for the first time I immediately thought it was the best perfume I´ve ever smelled. I had already smelled Herod, Layton and Oajan at that time. None of them marked me as much as Carlisle. If I had to pick a signature fragrance, this would be it. Without thinking twice. The opening that looks like a sweet liqueur grabbed me from the first time. Its quite strong (and i love that) in the first minutes but then the subtlety of this perfume is indescribable. Gentle yet powerful. Sophisticated but playful at the same time. Seductive by nature and a relentless predator. Carlisle was born to be king. The quality of the ingredients its fantastic. Durability and projection are good but not perfect. At least in my case. But i can live with that. Gladly.
Oh Carlisle, my precious thing...

I hesitated several times buying this perfume because Carlisle was on my wish list for a long time. Some reviewers said it would be redundant to have both in the collection but now that I own them I can't disagree more. Mancera is strength, durability but synthetic and less pleasant to sensitive noses. Carlisle is pure smoothness, quality ingredients and it has the best opening, by far. Some people say Carlisle is tough in the opening, but I love that stage. It's like a sweet liqueur, aggressive but pleasurable. Mancera its realy harsh and quite synthetic in the opening. Over time the two get closer but Mancera's performance is unbeatable. Durability is insane in Red Tobacco. The projection is also good and better than Carlisle. I like to use both but my heart leans more towards the PDM.

Wonderful opening. That hemp note really shines on the first minutes of the fragrance life. Then it becomes more designer-ish but i still like it. Its different from the other designer releases at least. Good lastin power and pojection. And nice compliment getter. Happy to have this one in my collection.

I love the og spicebomb and i love this one to. The vanilla here is to die for. Almost niche quality. So cozy, so powerful, so spicy, but creamy and well rounded. This one screams for winter. If you like spices, vanilla and tobacco, this is a must have in you collection. And if you own the OG, this is not a redundant purchase. They are different but both equally great. Try it, at least.

So what can i say about this one? I dont actualy have a signature scent, but if i had, it would be this one. The iris, mixed with the patchouli and the vanille its so, so good. If you like this 3 notes you will love this scent. Floral...sweet...earthy...this smells divine. One of the best designers on the market. This one, dior homme intense and valentino uomo intense are the three kings of sweet iris fragrances. Fenomenal stuff!
