In Bottle: Smells like a wet rose fresh from the garden

Wet: Rose punches you in the face, there is something underneath, but it is hard to detect.

Dry: Rose just keeps holding on, as a price point i like a plain Tea Rose, but that is just what this is.

When I wear this scent I feel I get the "she-is-sniffing-her-wrists" look and eyebrow raise. I adore this scent for the first two hours and then it dies on me terribly...

In bottle: Bourbon and bay rum, very boozy and sweet,

Wet: cheerful. Not the pre-teen candy sweet, but the "these are candies for adults, not kids" sweet. I am detecting some floral background carnation? Lily of the Valley? The honey behaves itself in this stage not overtaking the other elements.

Dry: it dies in a crumbled heap from too much dancing and singing

Fruity Woody describes this well, however the fruit feels very synthetic. A good fruit-wood would have realistic fruit followed by realistic wood. The cloying fruit seems like coconut, mango, and rum followed by tobacco, labdanum, and vanilla.

This smells like a very wealthy woman takes her 10 yr old daughter to Barney's, the girl sniffs a few things and decides she likes this one best, the mother takes a whiff to make sure it is not an 80's oriental bomb and approves, saying, "that is nice, dear, now tell this nice man what you want."

This remains the girls signature scent well into her twenties, mostly out of nostalgia, until she discovers that there are other interesting things to wear besides the synthetic fruit of her youth. She suddenly sees how she has not grown up and evolved, much like the perfume is stuck at a coconuty vanilla.

What does this scent do well? Makes a more mature coconut.

Babies humans and animals give off pheromones which trigger a protective response in humans. I feel like this, is that pheromone in a bottle. I do love to smell babies, but it is awkward to hold peoples babies and smell them, I am glad for $300 I can smell my own "baby".

As other reviewers have commented I can not smell any actual oud in this scent, I do however smell somewhat of a very soft patchouli and peach. The patchouli is very lovely and wearable, perhaps so well blended I can not detect the cedar note or that it comes off as musky. There is certainly a sweetness to that the listed notes do not address.

Perhaps this is the child of two hippies who live in a peach orchard and keep themselves relatively clean for hippies. Mother has just rubbed her baby with some homemade lotion made from the peaches in her orchard and is putting the babe to sleep, in the background you can smell hints her drying some saffron she harvested.

With better sillage this could be a 9 or 10.

It smells like a man who has been processing tobacco in the hot sun all day and come home to relax and drink whisky without taking a shower.

Th tobacco is extremely dirty on me with the boozy sweetness which must be the honey. This scent is maybe 8 hours and stays close to skin.

For some reason the tobacco processors wife invites some company over unexpectedly, aware of his stink (for he is a gentleman) he quickly sneaks off to the bathroom to powder his pits and returns to the guests as if nothing happened.

He makes sure to keep his distance so the guests do not pick up on his stink or the fact he is wearing his wifes powder.

Perhaps the greenness makes this stink giving it sour, sharp undertones.

Not a favorite, I do not want to meet this tobacco roller, but perhaps peek in his humidor.

On other fragrance websites this has gotten favorable reviews, I picture a abstract piece of art and everyone staring at it trying to sound intelligent and saying it is, "jolly good."

It did get some points for an interesting progression, especially as the sharp notes fade after 45 min.
