The Echo of a Complicated Relationship
The scent was my first encounter with a niche perfume. I initially became aware of it through various YouTube videos. Perfumes had always fascinated me, but I hadn't really engaged with them until then.
Well, I decided to order a sample of the fragrance.
I was quite excited about what to expect, but somehow I assumed that the scent would definitely be too demanding for me. However, I was completely surprised when I actually liked what I smelled. Unfortunately, I can't quite remember what I smelled back then.
In any case, I belong to the group that detects the medicinal note, sometimes more, sometimes less, and I noticed that at the beginning. Something captivated me so much that I had to get the bottle, and for the first time, I spent a proud sum of money on a perfume.
How does it stand between us today?
Hmm... sometimes I would describe it as difficult, but sometimes just wonderful. The scent smells to me like a rather dry cedarwood, amber (which makes it seem beautifully warm), saffron, and then there's that medicinal "tinge" (which unfortunately sometimes really bothers me). I wore it for a long time only "to bed" because it enveloped me so warmly. I don't perceive cotton candy or anything like that at all; for me, it is actually a less sweet fragrance.
The last time I wore it in the office, I received a compliment from a colleague about my scent. However, I had layered it with Silky Woods from G&B and can't say what exactly she smelled. Because a few hours later, she said that the office smelled like a dentist *wine*. I really had to chuckle. It actually fits every occasion, but sometimes I hesitate to wear the scent. Unfortunately, so far, hardly anyone in my environment perceives the magic of this fragrance.
