And after the DJ has given it his all, it's time to get quiet again and gradually calm down, relax, talk to colleagues backstage.

Now you can think what you want about this music and such events, but for me this fragrance fits perfectly to such occasions. That's why it's quite easy to build a bridge here: A strong performance with lots of power, suitable for the masses (made) and definitely bringing joy.

In my opinion, the focus of Dua Supernova is clearly on the top note. The fruity and refreshing combination of grapefruit and the other citrus notes gives you a kick start to the day like two shots of espresso. You simply feel immediately alive. This bright, fresh and cool-blue start lasts for about an hour and a half and draws attention to its wearer with proper sillage.
The transition into heart and later base is then quite even and the fragrance becomes (a little too fast for me) much quieter. This is probably due to the fact that the fresh notes have then lost their radiance. But these make room for a wood-dusty base, which some describe as a "pencil note". Those who know Aqua Vitae Forte know what I mean. In detail, no note stands out clearly for me, in the overall picture it smells of dry, tart wood with a touch of freshness. Something warming through vanilla or benzoin shimmers through easily, but is never the focus of attention.
The base can also last for 6h+, even though it is made of solid material, with Sillage rather close to the body. So the intensity can be compared with the story described at the beginning. But it's also enough, because until then you had fun with the fragrance in any case.

Do you need this?
No, if you already have other citrus-fresh scents that suit you better. Personally, I miss a creative twist that maybe not everyone likes, but which would then make it my fragrance.
Yes, if you are looking for a super-fresh "evergreen" for the summer, which many people like and which is suitable for both everyday and office use. That would be a fragrance that you can give away as a gift, you're not doing much wrong.

And when the night is over and the scent has disappeared, you can still spray it.

Almost a year and a half ago, an acquaintance recommended a perfume to me that he liked very much. Somehow I got curious, so I left

"Excuse me, I can't find that perfume, do you have it?"
"Hmm, ne I don't know, maybe ask Douglas."

"Hmm, Kurkdjian... please follow me."

And from then on, a whole new world opened up in my life. I was limited to Douglas at that time and had no idea that there were still so many different perfumes out there.

So I follow the guy through the KaDeWe, I feel really strange, into a small corner under the escalator (at that time MFK did not have its own stand there). Show the photo again to a lady there, who sprays it on a test strip and gives it to me (I didn't know until then that perfumes can be so exclusive that you don't have to do it yourself).
"Ah, good Amyris. It's this scent here."

Okay, enough has been said here about the fragrance, for me it was fresh-sweetish, smelled good, somehow also familiar. For me today, it's floral-powdery with a hint of creaminess. Of course nothing exciting, but my darling in spring and very suitable for everyday use.

Nevertheless, I wanted to share with you my experience with this fragrance, my entry into the niche, from complete ignorance to the beginning of a long journey that became a real passion. It started with Amyris homme.

At that time it was a shock to see that a perfume can actually cost 130€. But since it was still clearly visible on the test strip after a week, I thought I'd get it for Christmas, that's something special
And that was a good decision, because what followed was completely new and incredibly interesting for me.

"Excuse me, are you looking for something in particular?"
"Thanks, I was just trying out some new ones here, but I already found them."

"Boarding won't be for 30 minutes anyway, I'll be right there!"

It's happened four times. 2 times Munich and 2 times Palma. Every time I leave the security check behind me, I sneak briefly through the duty free again and am happy every time they have Fabulous there.
Admittedly, at the beginning I was disappointed, too, because the expectation of the fragrance was very high. But you just have to test it more often. You have to give him 5 chances.
Meanwhile, I love him. Fabulous begins with me like the smell of this cheap plastic of inflatable pool rings, but very quickly turns into a creamy-sweet, somehow gourmand note. I feel the heart note like one of those candy canes that you can find at the fair. Out the back it gets leathery/woody again, but then it gets rather quiet.
"For those days when you feel a little bit fabulous." - as Tom Ford himself once mentioned. Perfectly described. Walk of Fame. Superficial, fancy, bling-bling. Optics of Paris Hilton, nevertheless one feels, there is neat money on the account!
That's exactly how I want to smell when I go shopping in Hollywood at 27 degrees and take off my sunglasses, because otherwise I don't see anything on the display of my iPhone.
That's exactly how I want to smell when I drive through Ibiza in a white Mercedes-Benz drop-top and buy a Chia-Chai latte from Starbucks. With extra cream and caramel.
That's exactly how I want to smell when I slurp my moët at a rooftop party in the whirlpool and talk to Lilly and Jessi about Tortenrezepe.
For days when you just don't take manhood seriously ;)
For me, it's really a nice, carefree, good-tempered scent. I can just have fun with him!

Part 1: Fascination

"Feel anything yet?"
"It's coming slow, yeah"

Again and again the bass presses in my belly. This week I wrote the last exam of my studies and I thought it would be a good idea to celebrate. In Berlin. Technoclub.
So I dance there with my girlfriend, freshly in love, shortly after I discovered my passion for perfumes.

"I think it's happening"

We were a little over an hour at the club when I got caught. An unknown cloud hits my face and my nose. Wow. Wow. I've never smelled anything like it. Kind of woody, interesting, incredibly attractive. Where does it come from?
As if in a trance, I go in circles and try to find more of them. But I can't find anything. Completely gone. Ah stop, there it is again! This distinctive fragrance, which is really unique.
A woman about 20 years older with a hat walks past me. This is also unique here. I'll follow her to the bar. I want to talk to her.

"Wow! What perfume is that?"

She shakes her head.

"Your perfume, can you please tell me what it is?"

She turns around and leaves. Fuck! Did I do something wrong?

Two hours fly by, my question is still unanswered. My girlfriend taps me, she needs a break from dancing. We'll go to the edge of the dance floor and sit down. And there it is again. Whoa!
The stranger with the hat is sitting right next to me talking to someone. In German. I touch her, she turns to me.

"Sorry, I asked you earlier, I'd like to know what perfume you're wearing, it's incredible!"

And then she finally had to smile a bit.

"Try to read it."

Huh? Reading? I smell her neck, but I just don't know that.

"What is it?"
"I was recently recommended in a perfumery Molecule 01."

What? That's Molecule 01? I had read a lot about this fragrance, but I had never smelled it before. The enthusiasm was great.

"You did? I've wanted to test this for so long! It looks wonderful on you." (It really suited her wonderfully)

Then she pulled something out of her purse. Tada, a bottle of Molecule 01. she gave it to me to test and I sprayed a bit on my wrist.
(I was so fascinated that I took a picture of it, so I know it was exactly at 05:04 am)
I had a little chat with the lady and we said goodbye. That was her, my first encounter with this fragrance. I was immediately a fan of it.

Part 2: Does this have to be?

But the story goes even further. I had the scent on my arm now, and I wanted to know. I had read that this scent has different effects on people. My girlfriend, for example, just didn't smell anything at that spot. What a shame! But I wanted to test it more.

So I walked through this club, completely exhausted, asking strangers again and again if they would smell something (except for my girlfriend everybody smelled something). Most of the time the reactions were very good.
But then there was this one woman. I also asked her if she would smell anything here and pointed to my wrist.

"Yeah, smells like perfume."
"Yes! But some people simply can't perceive anything!"
"A perfume that smells like nothing? Yeah, sure, I can screw myself, thanks."

I was totally disappointed and thought to myself, stupid cow.
But it wasn't until the next morning that I noticed what I was actually doing. I walked through a techno club and wanted to make it clear to people that there is a perfume that sometimes smells like nothing. Yeah, I'm sure they'll buy it from me in that condition!

I was a little ashamed, but I had to laugh about my behaviour. For me that's the fascination behind it!

Three days later, I bought Molecule 01.
