I had seen various dupe comparisons on Tik Tok and this dupe for hypnotic poison was rated much better than the la rive version from Rossmann. So I gave it a try for 14€.

I have to say I can only agree! For me, the fragrance is rounder and much closer to the original (at least in my memory).

At first smell a lot of vanilla, creamy. A bit like fresh, steaming rice pudding. Then oriental notes come in, which I can't really classify, a little woody, a little fruity. I think peach, tuberose and sandalwood are pretty good.

A great, heavy fragrance for the evening.

The longevity is very good for me. Even after 12 hours, the fragrance is still perceptible close to the body. I would classify the silage as rather moth-like, but this could also be due to the fact that I quickly become scent-blind, especially with vanilla fragrances.

The original that this perfume is clearly based on is now represented in all perfume trends again this winter and that's why I sprayed it on myself in the perfumery. I undoubtedly found the original great, but due to the vanilla-almond composition it was also very heavy, undynamic and old. Actually a great fragrance world, but more for my mother or grandma than for me. But because the scent didn't let me go, I wanted to give him a chance without putting 50€ into the sand.

I bought this fragrance (also on the flacon it is very clear) for 6 €. And he'd be worth twice as much to me loosely. The vanilla is pleasantly creamy and heavy, but doesn't hit you so hard in the head (or better in the nose) as the original. I smell almonds less here, but I smell coconut. All in all very close to the original, a very round scent, which is more like an EdT (but it is excellent with EdP) and a bit lighter compared to the original EdT (which looks more like an EdP).

I love it - better for me than the original! Younger, lighter, more dynamic!

The title says it all. If I were to close my eyes and smell this perfume, the first thing I would probably assume is that you're holding an 0815 men's shower gel in front of your nose. This is the variety that is either neonorange or neonblue and can be used as shower gel, shampoo and probably also rim cleaner.

Very tart, alcoholic, and synthetic-fresh, so that my nose tickles immediately after spraying on and I would love to sneeze. I had this fragrance in my closet for a long time now and applied it again for the comment today. And I have to say, now that it's there, maybe I'll pass a little sweetness in the heart note.

For me it was a real mistake and that despite the low price. In my opinion, very unfeminine and synthetic.

I'm now sitting at home, earlier in the drugstore, when I sprayed the scent on my wrists, the somewhat more bitter notes came out a little more clearly. But every time I smell more and more on my wrist, a memory becomes more and more present for me: Grandma's vanilla croissant. And they're really tasty!

This scent can be described almost only in feelings: I started studying in August and was back home for the second time just before Christmas. I visit my grandmother, we come in quite naturally with our second key and my grandmother stands in the kitchen and bakes, the whole house sweetly enough, after cookies and vanilla. When she sees that I am also there, her mind angles jump immediately upwards and she embraces me like only a grandma can: Firm and soft and warm. That's Hypnotic Poison to me.

I honestly don't understand the flacon at all. For me, this would have to be bottled in a beige/okka-black bottle. Heavy yet gentle, that's what this perfume smells like to me.

Overall the vanilla is very dominant after a short time, but without being too powdery. The silage's great. The warm, spicy notes float gently around you, even after a splash, without being too violent.

The only shortcoming remains for me: The Durft smells heavy, grown-up and sedate. He just reminds me of my grandma. And so it seems to me that I cannot fill this fragrance with the necessary dignity it deserves. For me too adult - almost old - too undynamic for someone who hangs out on yodelling during lunch break and is just 26 years old once. I still don't feel quite up to this beautiful scent...

Will he still make it into my bathroom cupboard in the next few weeks because of the actually beautiful perfume...? Wait and see.
