A Walk Through Verona: “Vivid in Verona” by Birkholz
The German niche perfume label Birkholz unveils “Vivid in Verona”, a new unisex fragrance designed to capture the elegance and vibrant spirit of Verona with its powdery-floral essence.
The “Vivid in Verona” Eau de Parfum is a tribute to this romantic city in northern Italy. The cityscape is characterized by winding alleys, magnificent Renaissance facades, and monumental structures such as the ancient Arena. Thanks in no small part to Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet,” Verona remains to this day the epitome of love and poetry.
To capture this vibrancy, the fragrance opens with a zesty blend of lemon essence, velvety peach, and pink pepper. At its heart, a floral duet of jasmine and lily of the valley unfolds, enhanced by osmanthus absolute. The bright floral notes evoke the flower-adorned balconies of the old town, while osmanthus, with its apricot-like nuances and leather accents, captures Verona’s romantic aura and the legacy of Romeo and Juliet. Finally, in the base note, creamy vanilla and musk blend with incense to create a warm, spicy finish.

“Vivid in Verona” expands the label’s renowned “Italian Collection.” The series, considered a declaration of love for Italy, now includes 10 fragrances. These include, among others, “Mornings in Milano”, a creamy blend of peach, coconut, and vanilla, as well as “Visions of Venice”, which has a fresh and sweet-floral scent with notes of lemon, apple, praline, and pineapple. Another fragrance is “Portraits of Portofino”—a maritime composition with citrus freshness designed to evoke the Ligurian Riviera.
The new fragrance is available in 50-ml and 100-ml bottles.
