Citrus Freshness and a Sea Breeze: “Late Lunch” by Byredo
With its new, limited-edition unisex fragrance “Late Lunch,” the Swedish luxury fragrance brand Byredo invites you on an olfactory journey to the picturesque Cala Jondal.
The fragrance was created by French perfumer Nicolas Bonneville, who created the Eau de Parfum as a tribute to the sun-drenched afternoons on the coast of Ibiza. To achieve this, he relied on a blend of citrus freshness, Mediterranean herbs, and salty notes that fade into a warm, soft finish.
The fragrance was developed in collaboration with the beach club Casa Jondal. Located in the south of the island, this famous beach restaurant is nestled in a cove lined with cliffs and pine trees and is known for its upscale atmosphere and Mediterranean cuisine.

“Late Lunch” opens with a lively and zesty burst of citrus notes from mandarin and lemon, which blend with the floral sweetness of orange blossom. At the heart, herbaceous rosemary and spicy pink pepper blend with the balsamic-green nuances of galbanum and mastic resin, while a salty accord lends a mineral freshness. On the finish, ambroxan, the musk molecule Helvetolide®, and warm cedarwood round out the fragrance with soft, woody notes.
This limited-edition fragrance is not sold through regular retail channels, but is available exclusively at the concept boutique Particular Ibiza.
