"Infusion de Santal Chai" by Prada: A Creamy Interpretation of Chai
With "Infusion de Santal Chai", Prada expands the Les Infusions de Prada collection with a woody, spicy, milky composition inspired by Indian chai.
Infusion de Santal Chai unexpectedly combines creamy sandalwood with the spicy notes of a chai latte accord to create a warm and cozy fragrance, underscored by a fresh hint of citrus and cardamom and the clear and soothing facets of musk.
Prada
At the heart of the composition is an accord of masala chai tea, which gives the fragrance its characteristic warmth and creamy texture. Citrus notes provide a light freshness. Cardamom notes are added later on, giving the fragrance a fine, aromatic spiciness. It is rounded off with warm, soft base notes of sandalwood and musk.

"Infusion de Santal Chai" was created by Daniela Andrier, one of the most renowned perfumers of modern luxury fragrances. She was born in Heidelberg, first studied philosophy at the Sorbonne in Paris and then completed her training at the Roure School in Grasse, which is now part of Givaudan. She has worked there for many years as a "Master Perfumer" and has developed numerous Prada fragrances - including many creations from the Les Infusions de Prada line.
A new chapter in the "Les Infusions de Prada" series
Developed under the creative direction of Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, the new Eau de Parfum joins the famous Les Infusions de Prada collection. This stands for reduced compositions in which one raw material is emphasized in each case, embedded with citrus notes, woods and musk
The line includes "Infusion d'Iris", which interprets iris in a cool, powdery way, "Infusion d'Amande" with a dry, milky, nutty almond note, "Infusion de Fleur d'Oranger", which focuses on a bright, citrusy orange blossom, and "Infusion de Rhubarbe", which combines the characteristic rhubarb note with green citrus freshness and a rose nuance.
The new scent is available in flacon sizes of 10 and 100 ml.
