Inspired by Vegetable Gardens: Jo Malone Unveils a New Fragrance Trio
The British luxury brand Jo Malone is expanding its range with three fragrances inspired by the vegetable garden: “Velvety Butternut”, “Scarlet Beetroot” and “Carrot Blossom”.
Velvety Butternut - Creamy, warm, and slightly nutty
The path that lies ahead of us is as smooth as a velvety butternut squash, freshly picked from the vegetable garden.
Jo Malone
“Velvety Butternut” is a woody gourmand fragrance that combines spicy freshness, nutty notes, and creamy warmth.
The fragrance opens with a zesty ginger note that delivers an invigorating, spicy-hot freshness. Gradually, the scent transitions into a creamy, gourmand heart of butternut squash, which unfolds a nutty, sweet warmth. The creation is anchored by an earthy, warm, balsamic base of patchouli and tonka bean.

Scarlet Beetroot - Fruity, earthy, and modern
Everything is bursting with color, just like the magnificent beets on display in the vegetable garden.
Jo Malone
The second fragrance, “Scarlet Beetroot”, is a fruity, earthy composition that highlights the unconventional note of beetroot.
The fragrance opens with the fruity, tart notes of blackcurrant. At its heart lies a distinctive beetroot accord, designed to capture the earthy character of freshly harvested beets. A warm patchouli note forms the foundation of the fragrance, lending it a sensual quality with its earthy undertones.

Carrot Blossom - Fresh, sweet, and floral
Life is sweet, like freshly picked carrot blossoms from the vegetable garden.
Jo Malone
In “Carrot Blossom”, notes of sweet carrot, delicate orange blossom, and white musk come together to create a refreshing floral fragrance experience.
The fragrance opens with spicy, aromatic fennel and the earthy, slightly sweet freshness of carrot. The heart then reveals orange blossom with its floral, creamy, and soft notes. Finally, patchouli and white musk lend the composition a warm, soft depth and a long-lasting finish.
