“Patch Absolue” by Tauer Perfumes: A Highly Concentrated Patchouli Composition
Tauer Perfumes presents “Patch Absolue”, a new unisex creation that combines the earthy depth of patchouli with floral, creamy, and balsamic notes.
At the heart of the composition is a high concentration of natural patchouli oil, which, according to the label, accounts for about 40 percent. The opening is characterized by alcoholic and spicy notes, accompanied by clove and cinnamon. In the heart, patchouli unfolds alongside benzoin and white flowers, before the fragrance transitions into a warm base of amber, sandalwood, and vanilla, which lends it a softer, balsamic dimension.

A New Chapter: The "Absolue" Line
“Patch Absolue” expands the “Absolue” line, which was launched in 2025 with the fragrances “Rose Absolue” and “Vanilla Absolue”. The collection draws on concepts from the earlier Tauerville world and reinterprets them in a more concentrated form. “Rose Absolue” features a lush rose with a fruity-spicy opening, while “Vanilla Absolue” combines a warm, balsamic-woody vanilla with rose, tobacco, resins, and patchouli.
Like all creations by Andy Tauer, this fragrance was also developed and handcrafted in Switzerland.
“Patch Absolue” is available in a 50-ml bottle.
