Roasted Vanilla and Maple Syrup: “Goddess Amber Vanilla” by Burberry

With “Goddess Amber Vanilla” marks Burberry’s expansion of the “Goddess Collection” with a gourmand women’s fragrance featuring lavender, toasted vanilla, maple syrup, and warm amber.

The opening notes of “Goddess Amber Vanilla” are defined by aromatic lavender essence and a sweet maple syrup accord. At its heart, a trio of roasted vanilla, vanilla infusion, and vanilla absolute unfolds with creamy, caramelized, and slightly smoky facets. A warm amber accord finally rounds out the composition, leading it to a soft, balsamic finish.

For the roasted vanilla note, perfumer Amandine Clerc-Marie (who previously created the original “Goddess (Eau de Parfum)”) used NaturePrint® technology from dsm-firmenich. The olfactory profile of roasted vanilla beans was analyzed and reconstructed for the composition.

A darker, gourmand interpretation of the Goddess signature

The “Goddess” line debuted in 2023 with the eau de parfum of the same name, which blends lavender with a trio of vanilla notes. This was followed by an “Intense” version featuring smoky vanilla wood, as well as a perfume concentration with raspberry and suede. “Goddess Amber Vanilla” now takes the vanilla signature in a warmer, more gourmand direction.

Visually, the refillable, square bottle echoes previous editions of the “Goddess” collection. A new feature is the color gradient ranging from deep orange to warm gold-amber—inspired by the colors of a sunset. The face of the campaign is British-French actress Emma Mackey, who has represented the collection since its very first fragrance.

“Goddess Amber Vanilla” is available in 30-, 50-, and 100-ml bottles, as well as a 150-ml refill.
