Three New Elixirs From Bon Parfumeur: “305 Bois Darshan,” “503 Sultan Fire,” and “604 Noir Atlas”

Three New Elixirs From Bon Parfumeur: “305 Bois Darshan,” “503 Sultan Fire,” and “604 Noir Atlas”

With “305 Bois Darshan”, “503 Sultan Fire” and “604 Noir Atlas”, Bon Parfumeur is expanding its Elixirs collection with three new fragrances inspired by travel experiences.

305 Bois Darshan – A Spiritual Encounter in Kerala

Golden light in Kerala. Amma’s ashram. Cardamom wafts through the air, vibrant and fresh. Then the oud comes to the fore—deep and enveloping. It was no longer just a simple moment. It was a darshan, an encounter with the Divine.

For “305 Bois Darshan” perfumer Miroslav Petkov drew inspiration from the lively yet peaceful atmosphere of Amma’s ashram in southern India. In this composition, he sought to combine the freshness of the moment with the depth of natural oud. The name refers to the Hindu concept of “darshan”—the blessed encounter with the divine.

The fragrance opens with Guatemalan cardamom and fruity guava. In the heart note, North African rosemary and Spanish cistus absolute come together. The base is noticeably darker and more balsamic: Indonesian patchouli blends with Laotian and Vietnamese oud, as well as Spanish labdanum absolute.

503 Sultan Fire – An exhilarating night in Istanbul

A sizzling night in Istanbul. From the rooftop, I can feel the city’s energy. An electrifying whirlwind. The palaces sparkle, the Bosphorus ripples, bodies dance. This view, this music, the spices in the air… it all intoxicates me. A dizzying, almost surreal moment. For a moment, I am a sultan: master of the night, carried by the city as if on a moving throne.

A hot night in Istanbul served as the inspiration for the spicy, gourmand fragrance “503 Sultan Fire”. Founder Ludovic Bonneton describes a scene above the city’s rooftops: sparkling palaces, the Bosphorus, music and spices in the air, and the feeling of reigning over the city like a sultan for a moment.

The fragrance was created by Jean-Christophe Hérault, who sought in particular to capture the interplay between texture and light.

The opening notes feature Madagascan pepper, saffron, and Somali frankincense. At the heart, green hazelnut, Indian jasmine sambac absolute, and Madagascan cinnamon come together. Chinese osmanthus absolute, Indonesian gurjun balsam, and Java vetiver form the base, lending the fragrance a warm, balsamic-woody depth.

604 Noir Atlas – Black Cherry in the Atlas Mountains

After hours in the ochre-colored desert dust, the silence hangs heavy, dense, and almost sacred. And then, suddenly, everything shifts. A storm rises over the ridges of the Atlas Mountains—dark, wild, and beautiful. A liberation. The sand swirls upward, and the heat collapses under the force of a new breath. In this chaos, I can finally breathe again. An abrupt, intense, and healing rebirth—like a thunderstorm.

The inspiration for “604 Noir Atlas” lies in the barren landscape of the Atlas Mountains. Bonneton describes hours spent in the heat and ochre-colored dust of the desert before a storm suddenly sweeps across the mountain ridges. Perfumer Karine Dubreuil-Sereni sought to capture this moment primarily through colors and contrasts.

The fragrance opens with a fruity-spicy blend of Ceylon cinnamon, cardamom, cumin, lychee, pink pepper, black currant, and black cherry. As the fragrance develops, notes of davana, orange blossom absolute, and Turkish rose absolute unfold. The base notes of Atlas and Virginia cedar, fig milk, patchouli, papyrus, sandalwood, and vanilla provide a warm, woody finish.

Each of the new fragrances is available in a 100-ml bottle.
