A Good Clone of Invictus Victory Elixir
Al Embratur Elixir is a good clone of Invictus Victory Elixir, and not a million miles away from Invictus Victory. Instead of the Olibanum & Lavender middle notes in Victory, they've been replaced with Patchouli & Incense in the Elixir. Overall, it makes the scent darker and more mature, though still maintaining that familiar Invictus sweetness.

Sillage is strong, and longevity is solid at around 6-8 hours. As a fan of the Invictus Victory line, I was always going to like this. Zimaya have once again produced a quality clone. 9/10

Clone of YSL Y Elixir - Good, not Great
I have Y EDP, but haven't tried the Elixir as yet. Regardless, Abadi Opulent is nice. It still has the Y DNA, but the added Oud and Frankincense make it darker and richer smelling. In fact, the Oud and Frankincense is very well blended. It could so easily be overwhelming if not done correctly, but this has been done very well.

It strikes me as a more grown up version of Y, but can still be easily worn either day and night, and in all environments. Sillage and longevity is the issue here. On me it sits very close to the skin. Instead of being a beast fragrance, it instead radiates warmly from the skin, but does last on the skin for many hours. I picked up a bottle for £20 in the UK, so I can't really complain. 7/10.

Warmer, Sweeter and Spicier than the Original - But Not Bold Enough
First impressions.

Montblanc Extreme opens up with a blast of fresh citrus, but then develops into a much darker, warmer fragrance with much more depth than the original. In the drydown it also becomes sweeter and more resinous.

It's very much in the wheelhouse of Sauvage Elixir/Boss Bottled Elixir/Triumph Elixir and even Bottled Absolu, though nowhere near as strong or as bold. It feels like this is where Montblanc took its inspiration from. It also shares the same spiciness as those fragrances and has the same liquorice note found in Sauvage Elixir.

It's by no means a beast mode fragrance, and on me sits very close to the skin. Longevity is better, and I've been able to smell it for most of the day. Personally I would prefer it to be punchier and project better.

It's a 6 out of 10 for me at the moment, as it needs more wear. It's not a bad fragrance, it's just that there are other fragrances out there doing the same kind of thing, only better.

A Good Shower Gel Type Fragrance
I've just received this new flanker from Drakkar and my first impression is that Drakkar Bleu is a shower gel type of scent. For a fragrance called 'Bleu' it's actually quite 'Vert' (Green). The Spearmint, Sage, Violet Leaf, Lavender and Moss all combine to make it a very fresh, crisp, invigorating aroma. The opening note of Apple adds some sweetness to the mix, but this is definitely not a super sweet fragrance. It has similarities to Versace Eros and Davidoff Cool Water, but does its own thing in the drydown. It's not groundbreaking, but it's not a bad flanker in my opinion. I'm really enjoying wearing it.
