Scented Candle to My Heart
Hello dear ones, I would like to tell you my story...:-)
Backstory:
I love scents and often make blind purchases based solely on reviews... :-) I usually order from small perfumeries. You might be wondering: "Why does she do that? :-))"... I will tell you... I love this surprise!!! These beautifully packaged fragrances and the samples... It is so incredibly exciting to order scents and then smell the first sprays on my skin. Pure adrenaline :-) Am I normal?? I don't know, but that's just how I am :-) and I have to say, the most beautiful scents so far have been blind purchases!!!... :-)
But now to the story...
I ordered a scent online once again. A blind purchase :-))) After two days, the package arrived. Everything was so lovingly wrapped.... Tissue paper, samples, and a small scented candle! The scent was from Chabaud and quite delicious... Raspberries to cuddle with...... After I sprayed the scent and was really satisfied with my blind purchase, I went over to the little cabinet and opened the packaging of the small scented candle to smell it too. It was the scented candle from Atkinsons 24 Old Bond Street!!!!!!.......and bammmm... What is this? I smell it again... Wow!!!!! does it smell beautiful.. I couldn't pull my nose away from the candle :-))))) Of course, I immediately grabbed my phone to Google the name. I knew Atkinsons, as I own Amber Empire, but 24 Old Bond Street didn't ring a bell.... And lo and behold, found it.... a men's fragrance??? I ran right over here to search for the scent and I couldn't believe it, it was actually there... Fragrance for men! Not unisex???? .... Well, I had to order it anyway, and I did. It arrived, I sprayed..... "Oh no," I thought to myself, my dear gentlemen, "I won't leave this scent just for you, you beautiful creatures have to share it with me now :-))..."
About the scent: For me, one of the most beautiful floral scents. Sweet, fresh, and yet so delicate. I close my eyes and I'm in England. In one of the little cobblestone streets. On the right and left, the typical houses that all look the same, with a small front garden, white picket-fenced, the lawn dotted with flowers, rose bushes, and juniper trees... A small table and three men drinking their whiskey.... I'm wearing a white, airy summer dress and the warm wind is blowing through my hair. I smell you, sweet juniper berries and little flowers, drink a whiskey, and I feel comfortable, like at home with my scented candle :-)
Conclusion:
I love this scent and think that it really shines in summer, on warm skin. Absolute lovely men's fragrance!! It is not intrusive, but I still notice it time and again. It is sexy, slightly spicy, but somehow gentle. For me, definitely more than just a men's fragrance, an absolute unisex! Despite my vision, I don't want to deter the gentlemen. I can totally imagine this scent on a man's skin (without the white, airy dress of course :-))

In the Rose Winter Garden with Vanilla Lollipop
This fragrance was an online blind purchase.... And I was sooo excited. I read reviews and waited, when will it finally be time? When can I finally smell it? "I hope I like it"... and if not, then I already have a gift for grandma... And then the day came.. I opened the package, the golden wrapping was simply radiant, the little pouch a sweet addition and the scent?.. Perfect for me! I feel secure. It is warm and cozy... this noble rose... Where am I??? In the winter garden surrounded by large, beautiful roses. I take a delicious, extra sweet vanilla lollipop out of my bag and just feel good... for hours.
