“Golestan” - New Creation by Andy Tauer

“Golestan” - New Creation by Andy Tauer

The label of Swiss perfumer Andy Tauer launches "Golestan", a new perfume whose inspiration began in the Louvre in Paris.

When Andy Tauer visited the Louvre in Paris in 2020, he stumbled upon a section he had never visited before - the Persian Empires and History section.

He was fascinated by the grandeur, the statues and the cultural heritage that spans more than 5000 years. He began to discover more, read books and finally came across the palace called Golestan in Tehran.

The palace, also known as the Rose Garden Palace, built in the 16th century, was pure inspiration with its ornamental and symbolic paintings on tiles. Golestan literally means city of flowers or garden of flowers.

Although he has not been able to travel to Iran until now, he has created a perfume that takes you exactly there. It is an invitation to breathe the fragrant air of a flower garden in freedom.

"Golestan" is a striking and sophisticated experience of gracefully fused flowers blooming in a timeless way in a colorful place. The garden welcomes you with first impressions of fresh citrus and rich ylang-ylang. Rose Absolute from Bulgaria soothes exuberant doses of white floral absolutes: sensual jasmine, lush tuberose and erotic orange blossom.

The exuberant interplay of these natural absolutes results in an opulent and dynamic floral perfume. The base is rich, with creamy patchouli and amber notes that transition into sweet and soft woods.

"Golestan"
references the seductive classics yet is an uncompromisingly modern and original perfume.

The extrait de parfum is available in a bottle size of 50ml.
