Frankincense - also a bit dry
I have several frankincense fragrances. Sometimes sweet, sometimes oriental, sometimes citrusy, sometimes ecclesiastical - but Istanbul's Soul brings a new variant to my collection - dust-dry frankincense.

Black pepper meets frankincense with resin and wood. Lasts forever and really feels very high quality. Anyone who likes spicy scents should check out Alghabra.

I had the opportunity to try out this brand in a travel kit - I was really impressed. I had to get Istanbul's Soul right away.

Citrus in a different way
I unexpectedly received a sample with my fragrance purchase and was pleased because I am currently on the hunt for summer scents.

The cologne is for me 1:1 in the opening like salty pickled limes or lemons. Those who have traveled in Asia might know this - there is a Salted-Lemon refreshment drink - and I was immediately transported back to Asia.

A hint of grapefruit also comes through for me.

Longevity is okay for me - relatively quickly close to the skin, but I can smell it all day long.

Not a classic citrus scent - but for me and my memories of my time in Asia - very nice. Unfortunately, not worth the price in my opinion.

Frankincense Superstar
Anyone who likes frankincense/olibanum should try this immediately.

The price/performance ratio is gigantic, mega raw material quality, and this super freshness combined with a deep frankincense experience makes it an absolute favorite.

Attar is not for everyone - and it's quite new for me - but this magical scent lasts forever - maybe not the biggest sillage - but it stays with me. :-)

It suits me for every season - but be careful - it’s addictive.

I Have Also Stopped
PerfumeAl is standing still.

Simply amazing. I first came to Floraiku because of the beautiful bottle designs - then had the opportunity to try some fragrances.

The Mountain Standing Still is simply a masterpiece for me.

Tea, Oud very clearly - but also completely different fleeting nuances that constantly change throughout. Unique.

It brings a calmness within. Takes you on a distant journey - and yes, it also receives compliments. Bravo.

Elegant but Fleeting
Rank 3 of the MDCI perfumes for me after the 2 fougeres.

Very beautiful light incense mixed with herbs and spices - but everything is kept very light and wearable.

I can imagine it for almost any occasion and season.

The problem for me is H/S. Dry-down for me already after an hour and hardly detectable after 4.

Such a shame - I really like it - but the price-performance ratio is not okay.
