You gorgeous scent, where have you been all this time?
I am satisfied with the fragrances I have. Many of them I love for ages. They are like loyal, longtime friends to me: Always there for me, they give me joy and security.

Actually, I am therefore not looking for a new perfume; am also no longer wild as in younger years, necessarily to find a great fragrance for me. Nevertheless, I like to sniff trial samples and bottlings. It could but times something dabeisein, which I like well and convinced me.

A very dear perfume regularly provides me with test spray, filled with the most beautiful, partly also most expensive fragrances, which she finds suitable for me. She now knows my taste very well and is therefore often very correct with their assessment, about which I am of course pleased. Through her I have already met some beautiful fragrances that I would never have found otherwise. Dear C., you know it's about you when you read this.

Yesterday I did not have such a good day. As that is sometimes so in life. Actually, not a suitable day to test new perfumes, but there is a risk that they might not like if the mood is attacked.

No idea why I reached yesterday afternoon nevertheless to the new Pröbchen. Probably because they were still on my living room table and thus directly in front of my nose.

And so it happened that I sprayed "34 Boulevard Saint Germain (Eau de Toilette) | Diptyque" on the back of my hand. I had no expectation and never dealt with Diptyque before; so approached the fragrance completely unbiased, and also read nothing at all about him beforehand. I always do so, because I want to make me, as neutral as possible and uninfluenced by statements and reviews, my own opinion on a fragrance.

The wonderful, balsamic soft-spicy scent immediately rose to my nose and I liked it right away. Such a thing does not happen to me often. Its balance and beauty overwhelmed me immediately. Thought to myself, however, I should not rejoice too soon and wait for the base note. The fragrance could still develop in a direction that I might not like.

But that was not so. He is for my taste just gorgeous, from the first to last nuance. Nothing bothers me, everything is harmonious and great balance. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect fragrance from the perfumer Olivier Pescheux, who created this fragrance beauty. I can't think of anything that could have been improved about it. It is such a great, soulfully conceived composition that could not have been more beautiful to me. Never would I have thought that my vintage favorite fragrances "Tabu (Eau de Toilette) | Dana", "Obsession (Eau de Parfum) | Calvin Klein" or "Opium (1977) (Parfum) | Yves Saint Laurent" could get competition again in this life.

Also, I did not assume to find again a real fragrance love, whose beauty and perfection overwhelms and touches me so.

We all know there are perfumes that you find great and also like to wear; with which you feel comfortable and satisfied. But there are only a very few fragrance creations that become heart fragrances, and on which you no longer want to do without.

For me, "34 Boulevard Saint Germain (Eau de Toilette) | Diptyque" is such a perfect fragrance beauty that I inhaled it yesterday downright deep from the back of my hand. Every little nuance is right for me, and each of these notes delights me like a wonderful piece of music that goes to the heart. I have not smelled such a harmonious, appealing fragrance that immediately touches my innermost for a long time. The wonderful fragrance gave me a feeling of happiness and spicy-warm comfort on yesterday.

Now this does not mean that you, dear readers, also finds or must find this fragrance so beautiful. I have now read statements and reviews about him. He comes here generally very well away, and many users are taken.
But as is always the case, what I find beautiful and overwhelming, must not please you, and it is a rarity that a fragrance triggers such feelings.
I must confess: Almost moved me to tears by its artful beauty.

Therefore, I say my dear perfume friend C. again many thanks that she attached her fragrance mail to me "34 Boulevard Saint Germain (Eau de Toilette) | Diptyque", because she guessed that he could please me. Without her, I would not have had this beautiful little experience.

Some users attach a song to a review that they find appropriate and that comes close to their feelings that the fragrance triggers. I allow myself that exceptionally also times and link here a beloved piece of music by Nick Cave. Who likes, it can listen to times:

* Urbanist * - the urban planner and architect
When I read DrGourmand's statement, I already became aware of this fragrance and promptly ordered a small bottling. Although I imagined *Urbanist Gold*, completely different, namely sweeter and warmer, I still like it!

The modern, smooth bottle is a perfect match for the fragrance. And the name *Urbanist* is also well chosen, as it stands for urban planners and architects who are building ultra-modern skyscrapers made of metal and glass. Cool, breathtaking aesthetics. The fragrance seems to be based on all these things and inspires such associations.

With *Urbanist Gold* I can only describe the overall effect on my nose, because I cannot smell individual ingredients. Predominantly I perceive the fragrance as masculine. For ladies, who like to use cool and tart men's fragrances, it is definitely a recommendation. However, I do not perceive it as a female scent, although it is intended as such

The first sprayer is really powerful. A fresh, aromatic fragrance, full-bodied and multi-faceted. Spicy yes, but not recognizable which spices are involved. Everything is beautifully balanced and no note stands out unpleasantly or strikingly from the beautiful composition. *Urbanist Gold* smells exclusive and high quality and much more expensive than it is. It conveys cultivated elegance without appearing too cool or repellent. It is a full, aromatic scent, which will find its lovers, and it is really worth testing it

In the base note it becomes warm and spicy, but also retains the initial freshness, which I find very interesting.
Rather woody at the end. I cannot smell amber, vanilla and tonka bean.

You certainly won't go unnoticed with this interesting scent, as it has a good sillage and durability and could be an elegant crowdpleaser. In any case, I find it very pleasant and likeable.

For my nose, not really innovative or spectacular in its recipe, but still a striking bang.

Giorgio for Men - anything but mainstream
I've been testing Giorgio for Men for hours tonight. This is a blast! I seldom have fantasies about a fragrance, but here I very soon remembered how beautiful I would feel if a man greeted me with a kiss on the cheek and perfumed with Giorgio. I would enjoy it and I would certainly spontaneously compliment him on his great perfume.

How should I describe him? In the beginning extremely strong charisma. Very masculine, confident, cultivated soapy and dusty powdery. The base, only many many hours later, cautiously sweet. At the end I perceive a pleasant composition of musk, vanilla and tonka bean, which is still clearly fragrant. A very complex creation, whose many beautiful ingredients can be read in the pyramid. A tremendously strong eau de toilette.

You should definitely give it some time before going out, otherwise it is too crass. And you should definitely dose discreetly, otherwise it will be too violent.

I think 'Giorgio for Men' is very suitable for parties and special events. You will certainly attract attention with this scent and should therefore be able to cope with it. Freshly applied for cuddling it would be much too strong and obtrusive for me; also the top and heart note would be too linear. I like the drydown to be quieter and more intimate. Then Giorgio for Men smells seductively powdery and finishes with a fine hint of subtle sweetness. However, still well perceptible. It is possible that he unfolds his true beauty in a man only the next morning, when he has become one with his wearer.

Although as a woman I occasionally love to wear men's fragrances, I don't know yet whether Giorgio for Men is also suitable as a women's fragrance. It takes courage to carry him. Not only for women

It's already a fragrance for men - not for boys.

I would like to thank treasure hunters sincerely for sampling this extraordinary fragrance, which has been unjustly forgotten because its weddings are over. Then as now 'Giorgio for Men' smells anything but mainstream.

*Téhéran pour Femme* by Leila Hatami - a discovery
Through the statement of GOLD, to *Téhéran pour Femme* by Leila Hatami, I became aware of the fragrance and was very happy that she offered me a sample for testing. At this point again many thanks, dear J.

Leila Hatami - as we learned in the meantime from the informative and stirring commentary of GOLD - is a famous Iranian actress who moves bravely and courageously in her country and abroad and with her proud free spirit is a role model for many women in her homeland.

I have nothing to add to the extensive commentary of GOLD and so it makes me a bit unsure what else I could write about this fragrance. I know it's an emotional souvenir from her father's country. What if I didn't like the smell at all? I'd hate to write anything negative about it. But fortunately this was not at all the case and my doubts were completely unnecessary, because I find the fragrance beautiful. I don't take the ingredients apart here, because I'm not competent enough for that.

First of all it should be said that Leila Hatami is also a very attractive woman on the outside. Which is not surprising with an actress. And so it came to pass that a fragrance for women and men with the name *Téhéran* was launched under her name. During my research in the net I looked at numerous photos and Leila H. seems to me elegant, self-confident, intelligent and timelessly beautiful. I don't see an artificial, lifted Hollywood star or injected lips, but an elegant, classic woman of natural beauty. She is very sympathetic to me - with everything I now know about her.

And that's exactly what their scent is like to me. Sympathetically elegant, timelessly beautiful. GOLD wrote in her statement that *Téhéran pour Femme* is based on the bestsellers La Vie est Belle and Flowerbomb, which I would like to confirm here with regard to LVeB. Even if I had approached the fragrance in a completely unbiased way, I would have noticed the resemblance to LVeB. Now I have to say that - despite all the scolding - I like La Vie est Belle very much. But in the meantime I have already met him too often on the street and one gets a little tired of him. Some people even hate him for chasing them and annoying them. However, this is usually not due to the creation itself, but mainly to the overdosage.

This enormously successful fragrance has not conquered so many women for nothing. Lancome did everything right with LVeB. That has to be said here. A sympathizer like Julia Roberts, our all "Pretty Woman", a heavy, high-quality bottle, a lovely innovative fragrance in rosé and an optimistic, cheerful name like "La Vie est Belle". That just had to please. And the bill worked.

No wonder *Téhéran pour Femme* took the popular LVeB as a model. Who wants to take risks with a very individual scent? But what makes Téhéran so much more beautiful and attractive for me is the subtlety and delicacy with which it was created. Everything that seems loud and somewhat 'synthetic' at LVeB is much more natural and high-quality at Leila's fragrance. I perceive a velvety scent of roses, sweet, delicate and warm. And all the ingredients seem to have been composed with great care and balance. Quiet, gentle and extremely feminine *Téhéran* takes me for herself. His fragrance is also wonderful and takes its time. A development is taking place in which all the ingredients gradually have their own appearance, to finally result in a seductive whole. This is classically beautiful and far away from a linear fragrance that carries little mystery. And soon I find myself feeling LVeB too loud and too ordinary.

Here a perfumer has taken a bestseller as a model, but he interprets it with an artistic hand and sensitivity. I was very surprised that it is possible to dim down the fragrance ingredients so that they look like a quiet promise.

I think the scent of Leila Hatami is very successful. It is fragile and sensitive, where LVeB and similar fragrances have a powerful and indestructible effect on me. And now that I've taken *Téhéran pour Femme* to my heart, I almost feel a little ashamed of how I liked the loud, cheerful and extroverted La Vie est Belle at all.

A gem from Calvin Klein
After the wonderful and enthusiastic comment from user Profuma, I had expected an in between thing from Obsession and Venice. Two fragrances I love very much

The description of "Profuma" was very euphoric and had led me promptly to a blind purchase. Their description is also true, in a sense, because Euphoria Amber Gold is a balanced, round, soft and delicate Oriental. He doesn't smell exactly like Obsession or Venice, but he is definitely a close relative of both, but not an unimaginative copy.

I've loved Obsession and Venice for ages. Opium and obelisk. Christmas spices bewitch my senses and twist my head.

Euphoria Amber Gold is a very delicate oriental for my nose and certainly very suitable for women who do not (yet) dare to use extremely strong spicy oriental scents or only like very discreet and quiet orientals. If you know and love the vintage versions of Opium & Obsession (like me), you will certainly want Amber Gold a bit stronger and the Sillage stronger.

The top note is a bit noisy, but then the fragrance quickly dims down to a subtle level and sticks very well to my skin for a few hours. The base note is particularly beautiful, vanilla, cinnamon and sensual with a hint of caramel. The composition contains royal jelly according to the pyramid, but fortunately the sweetness of Euphoria Amber Gold is not sticky honey-like, but very subtle.

My nose is used to spicy oriental scents all my life and therefore I may not perceive them more than so strongly. Perhaps other users perceive Euphoria Amber Gold as a powerful fragrance. I don't want to be the measure of all things. In any case a harmonious, beautiful Oriental, whose pleasing composition I like very much.

I can't smell the plum either. More sensitive noses that don't quite like plums as much as I do may perceive them. I think this fragrance from Calvin Klein is very successful and appealing. For my taste the most beautiful Calvin Klein fragrance for years.

No nuance wants to dominate or interferes with the course of the fragrance. Everything is extremely skilful and harmoniously coordinated. This fragrance is successful, pleasant and cuddly. Ideal for late summer and the coming winter months. But also easy to wear at high temperatures. The bottle is also very attractive: the warm bronze colour matches the fragrance perfectly and the bottle design is very artistic. A beautiful piece in every perfume collection.
