Vintage Summer.....
I had all but forgotten about this perfume, which I first received as a gift 20 years ago. Somehow it popped back up on my radar when I was looking for different summer scents to wear.

I unwrapped the precious bottle and was torn - how could I have forgotten such a light, clean, airy scent?
It's pefect for summer wear and a wonderful blend of sweet honey and floral scents.

I admit to being a fan in the eighties for this wonderful fragrance. In every handbag I had this little square bottle. The scent lasts reasonably well.

Unfortunately, you can no longer buy this originating scent. The newer variants of White Linen smell not nearly so wonderfully clean.

Black and White Marble Mosaic....
A snob is a person who likes to be extravagant and believes that he or she appears particularly distinguished or intellectual because of an appropriate appearance or offbeat interests.

Snob strikes me as: extravagant, mysterious, elegantly intelligent, and expensive.

A tasteful café, Large mirrors on the walls. Black and white mosaic marble floor. Big soft plush chairs, just where Snob fits.

Like a powdery, soft tea rose mixed with dry white flowers (jasmine, orange blossom) and sprinkled with citrus.

Snob resembles Joy. But on the skin, Snob is much lighter. You can still smell the similarity, but it's much more vibrant and has a salty note.

The fruity and salty lingers in the scent, blending with sandalwood and musk. Individual fragrance components are easily discernible.
Please taste it. A dream.

Emotions....
I find Roja Dove fragrances inscrutable. The ones I have tested seem noble, valuable, aristocratic.

Great emotions come to the surface. Cocktail dresses, long satin gloves.

OHA, what a pleasant surprise! With a name like "Risque" I expected something very daring and challenging, but Risque Parfum is anything but that. Instead of a challenging composition, the wearer instead gets one of the finest and most pleasantly smelling floral blends I've come across. The initial tandem of ylang ylang and rose petals is absolutely sublime and of super high quality.

A big farm garden with full blossoms and a wonderful variety of colours between grasses and ferns is running in my head cinema. A bit earthy and mossy note. Head and heart melt softly . For me, jasmine, rose and ylang ylang dominate, but also a little freshness: citrus.

This harmony lasts for a long time. Quite late then the melange of quite biting patchouli and musk sets in.

A magical fragrance through and through. One droplet is enough to dream.

Green-yellow
Phew, fell in love again!

Once a year, in September, Le Labo sells the fragrances that are only available in specific cities. As a rule, the city-specific fragrances are only available in the city from which they are inspired. Citron 28 for example in Seoul and Vanilla 44 in Paris. Both fragrances are on my wish list. The brand has a strict "No online sales. No telephone orders. No exceptions ", except for the month of September, which fortunately is two weeks away.
Citron is a very ripe fresh scent and really smells of powerful lemons: green-yellow! At first, lemon reminds me of TF Venetian bergamot. Ginger gives me a fresher and more innocent experience of Citron 28 than TF.

This clean feeling lasts for about an hour.

I have the scent of white laundry on the drying spider in the garden. Musk and cedar wood round off the fragrance beautifully woody.

With me, the holding time is five hours, then I have to re-spray

In September Citron is my ).

Long, long time ago!!!!
Some years ago I visited Hamburg and with it the wonderful shopping mile with the Alsterhaus. The perfumery fascinated me: hundreds of exotic, unusual fragrances and brands were available there. At that time, Euro 200.00 for one fragrance was unthinkable. An extremely service-oriented employee sprayed Nouveau bowery on me, among other things.
My nose stuck to the back of my hand: exceptionally fresh green woody. Shortly before the gates closed, I returned and invested in Bond N° 9, proudly carrying the trophy home.
Now the fresh scent is back and 'Goggle' has been activated. I would find it on Amazon.com. Ordered in America, within 6 days the package was there, no customs, no trallala. I was thrilled

So the first spray: smells like a glass of water with ice, basil leaves and and a little bit hot like freshly cut pressed limes. I notice a slight cucumber note, which somehow reminds me of a Caipirinha.

Nouveau Bowery is a fun, bright and cheerful fragrance with an excellent composition and by far one of the best lime notes I have ever experienced. Also reminds me of a light lime ice cream on a stick.
The heart and base notes are green woody with a shot of vetiver. Very long-lasting.
Finally got everything right. Smells also delicious at this 20° summer.
Test him!
