Mechanic - MV Agusta competitor?
I discovered @hunq_amsterdam at this year's Esxence in Milan and fell in love with the concept
Mechanic was the one scent that caught my attention immediately - extremely unique and, fitting the name, smoky, dirty, leathery at first, and then it dries down to a really nice smoky floral scent
It has a good portion of synthetic notes, but it fits the theme very well - it has a rubbery, oily sensation in the top notes that transport the feeling of being a mechanic very well
This reminds me a bit (hold your comments - only a bit!) of Xerjoffs MV Agusta. A little less 'in your face' and more unique in a way.
Is this a blind buy?
Definitely no! Sample this before getting a full size!
If you are into bad boy scents, definitely check this out!

Some background:
Early Summer, under the last sun rays of a sunny Saturday afternoon. We are strolling hand in hand through an immense botanical garden, stopping at one particular area dedicated to the countless types of mint ️
Instinctively I had to go to each type, pluck a leaf, rub it between my fingers and experience the unique smell of each, one after the other.
I was so excited to experience so many different facets - fresh, green, sweet, aromatic, spicy, woody
Sharing this experience with the love of my life - it felt like the world stopped for a second, giving me time to enjoy the moment - following the rhythm of a symphony of mint notes.
Minty Mint has been my attempt to capture this beautiful memory of mine into a unique fragrance - created by Ben @superfumista ️
On to the REVIEW:
Minty Mint starts off with a blast of spearmint - similar to mint/menthol based bubblegum. It actually FEELS cold on the skin and the nose. With some citrus and sweet notes, the initial blast is well-rounded to a smooth mint experience. The dry down becomes more earthy and green while still retaining the mint - it's a miracle how a rather volatile mint top note can last that long

Incense & Tobacco Love
This scent is way to complex for me to understand or review. The only thing I can say: it is such fun to wear and discover how it evolves throughout the day. Definitely no blind buy - you have to love incense, you have to like tobacco - and you have to like smokiness. For me it also smells very dry. I love it - but I am a sucker for incense.
