540 C is the melting temperature of the Baccarat crystal, an uncommon crystal, because it is mixed with gold powder. If I should use one word to describe this perfume it is LIGHT. A golden elevator that takes you to a penthouse on 5th Av. I’m the foyer you will find Fresh flowers into crystal vases, contemporary painting, unpretentious silverware, minimal but fine furniture, a wardrobe with designer pieces. Luxury with a subtle touch of opulence. That’s not a cheeky oriental perfume (Montale like), it whispers wealth but does not exclaim a status. This is the strength of BR540 elegant but not pretentious, seductive but not sexy, bougie and not rude. For a man, a woman, a trans, binary, non-binary, queer, it doesn't belong to a gender, it is a lifestyle.

How does an old lady with a brown fur smells? Oriental and musky. A very interesting oil, perfect for layering. With 5 to 10 euros you get a persistent Perfume oil (with a medium sillage). It comes in a packaging that resembles a pack of cigarettes, the oil has a very dark and sticky appearance very similar to an oud. It opens with a strong note of geranium that is a bit annoying and at way too chemical IMO, after half an hour it evolved into a medicinal amber, for me the drydown is sandalwood and spices. It is not the most persistent oil in my collection and also the sillage is not the best (it’s an oil so you can’t expect a beast mode projection). I love to layer it with molecular scents like Juliet has a gun superdose or molecule 01.

I like this perfume, is well done and long-lasting but it doesn't worth the price! This amber is quite similar to Blue Amber by Montale. Is rich, powdery, very masculine, strong but not orientally strong. I was expecting something more oriental, sensual, and different, as the name is "oriental amber". I can hear all the spices especially the clove, the cumin, and the powdery dry down of ambergris, there's a little dirty touch of patchouli but nothing significative.

This perfume is extraordinary.
It opens with a pimp note of hemp seed oil. (if you smoked weed you can understand the feeling), which after a while becomes an amber with hints of green, saffron, I also feel other spices. The dry-down is musky, clean. It's not a fresh perfume but decidedly oriental. In the middle of this journey (because this is a journey guys!) I smell the incense, not a cold churchy one, this is warm, mixed with labdanum and vanilla. This is a really pleasant, deep, rich complex perfume. I use this perfume for every occasion as I'm a huge fan of oriental smells.
