That's clearly YOU, that's ME
Do you know this one moment? You're out and about somewhere and for a brief moment you pass through an invisible scent cloud, turn around and check out the people around you to see who this cloud is coming from. Who is this one person who tries to communicate his fantasies in an olfactory way? Who wants to impress you. For such a moment provides "this is her" by Zadig & Voltaire.

When the perfume was still new on the market (2016), it was rather an insider tip among wearers. At least that's what I was told by the saleswoman. It was an extraordinary fragrance that you recognize everywhere. Right away I liked "this is her" and of course I picked it up and what can I say, it's a fragrance that makes me feel very feminine. Now the question might arise, where does feeling feminine begin, how does femininity feel, how can this be defined, ... ? This question can answer each / everyone for themselves.

Interesting I find the flacon, because it stands in a riesen contrast to the perfume itself. Should I visualize the color of the perfume imaginary, it would be dark red and not white like the flacon. Or let me explain it this way, the true potential of the perfume is not apparent with this bottle.

The perfume is very sweet, creamy, woody I like to wear this one at night instead of during the day. At night all year round, "this is her" is a perfect companion. A perfume for the sweet, wicked, dark night.

The song Streets by Doja Cat goes well with this perfume (the window scene).

Of Grapefruits, Dita Von Teese and Porridge
Before I tell something about this Zara perfume, I want to say a few words about me. I keep it short.

My favorite fruit is the grapefruit. I love them, bitter and sour. I don't like the sweet and bitter ones. Fruits always have to be sour for me. And if they are sweet or tasteless like watermelon then a few many drops of lemon go on it so it tastes good to me.
Why do I like sour? I don't know, I've loved it since young childhood.

How did I get into this perfume? I had sorted the Zara fragrances here on parfumo by ratings descending a few months ago out of curiosity and lo and behold Vetiver Pamplemousse is at number 1, followed by other good fragrances.
A few days later I saw Leni's Scents on youtube exactly the same perfume present. Well since then, the desire to buy was firmly established.

Anyway, my Zara order arrived today, I directly sprayed on the perfume and what can I say "oh my goooooooott, it's so yummy, I want to bite my arm", that's exactly what I said out loud and was briefly with the tip of my tongue on my arm. (I wouldn't advise anyone to do that, it was the euphoria going through me that I easily lost control under). I really like the combination of citrusy and bitter. My first impression was more lemon than grapefruit, but now it's the other way around. Definitely more grapefruit.

The perfume has a slight "mister" touch, think that comes from the bitter note.

My nose has been stuck in my sleeve since noon today, I look with that famous bedroom look and say "give me the full blast Pam-pel-müüüüs. I don't want to inhale you, like the air, no, I want to inhale you, every time I exhale I look forward to inhaling again. Freshly sprayed on and smelled it, it burns my nose. I love it.

I will have to get me some more bottles, because today I have already sprayed me over 30 times. The durability is miserable with me. After an hour on my skin, the fragrance says goodbye. Of course I followed the advice of Roja. First apply perfume then the cream, Vaseline see there 3 hours are no problem.

Shower gel and shampoo I will still have to buy. I can imagine it already. While Dita Von Teese lolls in a martini glass I will put down a PowerDance in the shower, as soon as I own shower gel and shampoo. My playlist will include the following music:
Bonnie Tyler - I need a hero
The Weather Girls - It's raining men (I also love Geri Halliwell's version)

Jo Malone what have you created. I need more of these citrusy scents. If there are any recommendations, keep them coming please.

For those who have read this far, I gift you with another fact about me. I like to eat my porridge (oatmeal) with grapefruit and sour apples. :)

It started with a question...
Years ago, when I was working as a temp in a perfumery during my college years, this perfume came to my attention.

I worked in the warehouse, meaning I restocked the empty shelves from the previous sales day in the morning before the store opened. Fun fact, I wanted to work uuunbedingt in the warehouse and not in sales. Not that I didn't enjoy talking to customers. Just because of the logistical processes, I wanted to look behind the facade of a perfumery.

Well one day while I was still frantically stocking the shelves (the store had already opened) an older lady came up to me and asked for LaPanthere, I of course thought to myself "whaaat does she want, I've never heard that name since I've been working here, shit where is the sales staff when you need them...." of course the sales ladies were all busy advising.
But then rescue rushed in and the lady was helped.

Here I must mention of course that I should not advise as a warehouse assistant anyway, my job was to fill the shelves and not to exchange words with the clientele. Now and then I had of course helped if I was asked where what lies and I knew it, but advise...no thanks.

Perhaps I should also respond to the lady here and tell how she looked.

She was floating in a cloud of fragrance, oh yes, she was literally carried by the cloud. Her jewelry was ostentatious, especially the earrings. I won't forget those even after 4 years. Huge hanging clip earrings with green stones, whether they were gems, Swarovski stones, or plastic is anyone's guess. Her black coat, red lipstick, her hairstyle was like Anna Wintour's bob with bangs but her hair was dark brown, she had a friendly face, no stern to be seen. Her age had to be something between 55 and 60. She was elegance personified, she didn't seem too much, everything about her was just right, she lived her elegance and was 1000 percent aware of it. I know that I still thought to myself "I want to look like that when I'm her age". Whereas I couldn't wear that look every day, because like a Matrushka doll, there are many different women living inside me. And no, I do not have a multiple personality disorder.

Well, after my shift I walked to the shelf where LaPanthere was and wanted to know what the woman wanted to have there, because this fragrance I had not filled up in recent months at all, or if then vllt the colleague. Well I sprayed it on and was directly captivated by the scent. No wonder, with this scent I started to float just like the lady a few hours ago. I still float with the scent. Of course I had bought the perfume. As you know from my other comment, I am 28. In my opinion, this fragrance is not made for every woman, not everyone would like it. But with he still pleases for 4 years.

I'm getting the perfume now as I write these lines to write down my live reaction. Hold on please......sooooo there again. I spray it on my wrist.

Like a purring kitty cat I lurk around in my cloud, no wonder why this perfume is called LaPanthere. I see the lady from 4 years ago in my mind's eye again. She did everything right, with just one question, she got me the panther.

Thanks for that.

Fireworks for my sense of smell
This perfume is so familiar to me. The first spray was like a revelation. It reminds me of my past, I can't quite put my finger on the memory yet, but it's there. I'm not talking about a deja-vecu, in fact I know the scent from before. When the perfume came out in 2005, I was just 13 years old. (Before the arithmetic starts, I'm 28 years old :)) )
Somewhere I've smelled the perfume, I'm sure as amen in a house of prayer.

Daniela Andrier, the mother of Angelique Noire must have a magic nose, as well as being a very good story teller. It's a fragrance I would love to bathe in again. I want to breathe it, like the air here and everywhere. An herbaceous floral sweet scent, a scent that makes you say "I want to smell like that too."

Every time I hold the spray head to my nose or spray on the scent, that moment of bliss is indescribable, I hope you can imagine my facial expression...eyes closed, deep inhale, downright inhale, pause, a more than contented sigh and exhale.

One thing I should mention, on a man I would find this fragrance very sexy, just because Angelique Noire a tad more femininity verspüht.

Love-hate relationship
Delina Delina Delina Delina (shaking my head), you fill me with a love-hate relationship that I have never known before
I had hoped for so much more from the perfume according to reviews, comments etc. I like the head and heart notes in so far only in the fragrance cloud, but I don't like to sniff it with my nose directly on it. Well, this may also be related to the fact that we are in winter. This fragrance belongs clearly in the spring/summer. The drydown is phenomenal! Everything before it smells like a very strong rosewater. ?
The durability is super, after 25 hours my wrist as well as the clothes still smell.
