Rarely has a designer fragrance evoked such a strong emotion in me. This fragrance is really very finely balanced. The sweetness of the cherry, that sperrig-samtene of the bitter almond. And that subtle masculine sweetness. The longevity is also quite remarkable. A very balanced composition. And at a manageable price. This fragrance belongs in almost every fragrance collection. Caution, sniffing danger.

The fragrance composition has interested me especially because of the Ultra Zest DNA. At the first spray, also immediately comes the Mugler icon to the fore. Paired with the unmistakable BcR 540 aromatics. For now, the Zest fragrance body stays in the forefront and is allowed to run wild. In the drydown, BcR 540 takes over more and more and is accompanied by a faintly perceptible Aventus scent. This progression is always interesting. Caution: The projection is already very violent. If you are not averse to it, you can test this DUA fragrance with a clear conscience.

This fragrance composition, comes at first very citrusy therefore..then follows something that is remotely reminiscent of Memo's African Leather, but without reaching its sophistication. The sillage and also the durability are already very good, but there are far better Dua fragrances.

In fact, there are similarities here as well. You can kind of argue that: Where A*Men left off, Intoxicated is just getting started. That metallic sweetness just seems pretty flat on A*Men. Killian just makes it more rounded. I also feel the sillage is just kind of mediocre on A*Men. Intoxicated seems to be superior to the A*Men fragrance in all sub-disciplines. Just not in the price performance. Nevertheless, that is complaining at a high level. Who likes sweet fragrances, should buy A*Men blind.

Yes, you can definitely say that there are clear similarities in the fragrance DNA. The honey note, the sweetness. But, for me, it's as if Xerjoff has endowed the fragrance with more facets, it just seems rounder. Also, the silage is not comparable. From the price-performance ratio, however, the A*Men Pure Havane is really good.
