My last review...
...is actually over two years ago...and I actually have neither the time nor the muse to sit down and write about it...but this one deserves a review from me. Most of you don't like fig scents, I can't relate but well...live and let live *laughs*...I on the other hand LOVE fig scents and I've sniffed my way through a few the last few years, but this one is the best of them all...why? Because it has the most authentic fig I've ever smelled in a perfume.

Already when spraying on you can smell the fig...green, fresh, light-footed tangy (probably by the currant)...but that does not stay so...after a few minutes join cocoa and honey and a mü cinnamon...cocoa and cinnamon I know...cinnamon with honey I also already know...but cocoa, honey and cinnamon is a daring combination yet incredibly successful in this case. At this point, the fragrance also reminds me a bit of Sorriso by Profumum Roma. While the Sorriso but crushes you in his chocolate embrace and is a 1A canditate for headaches, Methexis manages the trick to leave the fig "green", but still sweet and powdery to emphasize. After a while I also smell the cedar out, which was very well integrated, but just so much a spiciness lets through, that this fragrance actually remains unisex...would he be more strongly dosed, I would want to smell him rather on a man.

In the course, so in the drydown I perceive the musk, benzoin and amber and always in the background the fig, which pulls a tail of tart cocoa with it...

The fragrance has no monster sillage but also does not belong to the wallflowers...so just right for my taste...Durability loose eight hours, then body close. Towards the end I smell on my skin only the vanilla and amber with a weng honey...

Seasonally I see the now in autumn and winter...hm...I'll dare to try it on a really cold day with Sorriso to layer, if I survive the combination, I'll tell you about it *g*

Manos Gerakinis has awakened in me the desire to test more fragrances from him...I'll keep an eye on...

Oh yes...here's a little fun fact of mine...I love the smell of figs, but I don't like to eat them....*laugh*

Remember the Golden Girls...?!
...that was a series about four old ladies who had formed a flat share and lived together. I loved that show...one of the ladies was named Blanche, like this fragrance. I don't know why, but when this fragrance reached me as an addition I thought it would smell like Blanche...sassy, sexy, upbeat, ladylike.
What I got was fresh laundry on the line...Yankie Candle type cotton...oh don't get me wrong, the scent smells great. Amazing that so many scents blend into one scent...but still a shame somehow. Even sadder is the durability...after one hour it's over...and that for an EdP and for the price?! No no no...da bleeds my Swabian heart....

Actually, I'm...
...give Chloé scents a wide berth. A wide berth. I don't like them. I don't like them. Period. It's like Chanel. I don't like them. Period.
Aaabut...my last fragrance post included a bottling of this scent. It was hot that day, the day was stressful I was slightly irritable (but only slightly) and I had a few things to do on the PC.
Unfocused and listless (and irritable) as I was, my eyes fell on the tester... "oh what the heck" I thought to myself and sprayed it on my forearm. Ooooyyy...that mandarineeee...instantly my spirits woke up. So beautifully fruity, but light as a white curtain in the wind paired with a delicate rose with morning dew still visible on the blossom...lovely. In the later course joins still a cozy amber to it, that's it.
This fragrance is not exciting, it also has no spectacular scent progression, but it is great made. He invigorates, refreshes, lifts the mood (is probably because of the mandarin) and is a summer fragrance for daytime. He is not a room filler and also does not last long (at least not with me)...unfortunately...but he conjures up a smile on your face...

"Loukoumaaadeeesss....
...elate na fate Loukoumaaadesss"...Greece in 1977, 1984, 1992, 2000, 2014...so pretty much no matter when...if you're lying (formerly in the sweltering heat, now greasily creamed under a shade) on a beach in Greece...any beach....sooner or later a super crispy tanned guy comes along with properly muscled legs, a folding stool in one hand and a big rectangular Tupperware in the other hand and sells the hottest donuts on God's earth...well...maybe there are also quite good donuts somewhere else...but THEY are big, fluffy, sweet, vanilla, delicious and taste best if you have been swimming in the sea for a really long time before. When you've eaten them, it's best to jump right back in to wash off the fine sugar they're dusted with and to get rid of half the calories by swimming five kilometres...
As a little girl, three or four years old, I once followed such a guy, because I wanted to know where he always gets his donuts from. I ended up in the bakery at a confectioner and watched fascinated, of course I also got what off, who can resist a red curly little girl in a red bikini again...
Do I need to mention that in the meantime, while I was sitting on a chair behind the bakery and gleefully devoured this huge piece, my parents were looking for me in a panic!!!! Um yeah...today I don't really understand that panic, back then...good thing the donut vendor noticed my slightly hysterical father and told him where he could find me...boy did I get to hear something...never mind...it was worth it *lol*

What the scent has to do with the donut? Absolutely nothing. It just reminds me of Greek beach, sun, shimmering salty air...I smell coconut even though there is none in it. The scent is sweet, but not smotheringly sweet, more of the fluffy kind. The cinnamon and sandalwood make it spicy, the cumin I hardly smell and the flowers are discreetly in the background...this fragrance is simply Nivea, Piz Buin, Hawaiian Tropic together...too bad that it does not last long, but at the price you like to spray every four hours again....

There are fragrances...
...which we pay no attention, whether because of the bottle...because this is perhaps not elaborate enough design, the low rating...because we prefer to listen to the opinion of others, instead of making ourselves a picture of it or perhaps the fragrance pyramid, which has some component, with which you can not handle.
So we do that, by the way, with our fellow human beings, technical devices, food...hach, I could go on forever...but today it should be about this fragrance.

Burberry...with the brand I connect only one other fragrance I know and that is "Her"...not my case at all, too fruity, too sweet...
The flacon...well...a designer award would not win the...
The reviews...dümpeln so in the midfield...
Fragrance pyramid...sage?! Isn't exactly one of my favorite spices...

Still, I had to try this one because I smelled it on my friend and thought it was incredibly awesome. She said only... "oh you, that's nothing special, that's actually full cheap"...now I had to try him of course right on myself...and not because I'm a Greek Swabian, but because I find it impossible when you devalue something "just because it's cheap".

The fragrance starts fruity, but not this fruity sweet, but just fruity, juicy...I don't know why, but it makes my mouth water and I can't even explain why that is. Later, cyclamen, iris and peach blossom join in, but the fruity tangerine/nectarine is still noticeable until the end, albeit subtly. I don't smell the sage, musk and woody notes...or they are so expertly woven together that I just don't smell them. For that it is such a fresh, fluffy fragrance, holds the loose six / seven hours with me...and normally my skin lets such fragrances evaporate quickly.

The name says it all...with that you get a good mood, fits wonderfully in this season and also in the summer. You can wear it everywhere, it is noticeable, but not annoying and is like a ray of sunshine on a dull day.

Conclusion...dare you also to fragrances (or people) ran, the evtl. at first glance nothing for one seem to be...sometimes you discover under it true treasures...
