In the green...
Basically a beautiful, green-floral-leathery fellow, this would be the end of my review if it weren't for a dark note that initially seems cheerful, but pulls you away like a 2.05m tall, broad security man and says: Not today.
Or the loved one to whom you present a lavish bouquet of flowers, only to find out that she loves someone else...

However, the A13 is a niche fragrance that couldn't be more daring, and unfortunately I couldn't like it any better...

Green-leathery, sweet-floral, attractive and repellent at the same time.

In the meantime, I have already made the acquaintance of many
Niche fragrances, but A13 shows me that it can be even more unusual.
Top class!

Tobacco wood nights?!
However, this is where I like to stay! This fragrance is so seductive that I had to have it because of a sample. Then good old ShaunBaker also made a bargain and bought this Spanish flagship oriental cheaply in the bay, yes, we always advise against Ebay purchases, but anyone who clones Tobacco Woods Nights would have only themselves to blame, it doesn't run like a Xerjoff or Tom Ford... although I have already fallen for a cloned Kouros Vintage, thanks to buyer protection money back :-) But that's another topic.

So we are in the Orient, or rather where tobacco is grown. The tobacco comes after the cola prelude, which first has to sort itself out. Then it starts off quite dry, it is comparable to the tobacco from Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanilla, but without any vanilla at all, but with clove and lavender? I can't smell it here at all. However, what
woody notes, labdanum, patchouli and tonka bean can do in the base is clearly demonstrated by TWN. At this point, the still dry tobacco becomes softer and creamier as it is enveloped by the aforementioned notes, transforming from dry to sweet. Towards the end, the sweet tones dominate, the tobacco gradually disappears and sweet, woody tones remain. In the base, it reminds me strongly of "A*Men Pure Wood | Mugler" which offers sweet woody tones from start to finish.

What I basically want to say is that the fragrance has a great scent progression and you get a different impression after every 10 minutes. The sillage is not bad either, although not brute. As always, I won't say how long it lasts, but it is in the healthy mid-range.

The black glass bottle with the golden plastic decoration and the black plastic lid is quite good. For me, there's nothing wrong with it because most bottles are just made of glass and a plastic lid anyway.

Deepest regrets, homage to the best men's fragrance I know.
You can cry after the old fragrances as much as you like, over is over. Lucky finds are rare, moon prices are often. With some fragrances I think to myself: "I wish I'd never met you". Like a married woman looking for a fling...

Azzaro Acteur will never come back, no fragrance manufacturer will ever dare to make good fragrances again, it will become more generic and gender-biased.
Rose fragrances are no longer in fashion these days and if anything rose is being incorporated into women's fragrances, or unisex, the last viable rose fragrance was Amouage Lyric VINTAGE.

Anyone who knows Acteur knows it's a MEN'S fragrance. Rose, leather, oakmoss, everything a man's heart desires! Not even Azzaro pour homme can match this masculine radiance.

I was once asked what would happen if I could only choose one fragrance... My answer is clear.

Nowadays I try to talk myself into the new fragrances, but to be honest, maybe not everything was better in the past, but fragrances were

Sweet, and slightly smoky
At least that's how I feel about Oudain. I wonder if some users have actually described the right fragrance...

It starts off with a slightly fruity note, but this quickly fades and oud? and smoke join in. As always, the saffron provides the necessary sweetness and is accompanied by even sweeter caramel.

Tonka bean and vanilla announce themselves from the middle and also set the pace here.

To be honest, I smell the least oud and smoke here.
Rather hinted smoke, but caramel that was in the pot a minute too long and oud far away in the background, if at all. Especially since no oud is specified.

So conclusion: leather no, oud rather not and smoke if you fantasize about it. For me, Oudain is a caramel fragrance with a tonka and vanilla base. I like it very much.

Edit: Depending on how long it's been around, it's also possible that I got a revised version or a worse batch... Maybe it was even better = stronger in the past.

Not for the faint-hearted
Normally I'm not a flacon victim, in principle flacons à la Animale Animale or Azzaro Decibel don't put me off buying them. With Musamam it was something else again, this bottle immediately aroused my interest due to its design and color scheme, plus the description: leathery-smoky, so the purchase was almost certain^^

Yes, it was another blind purchase, but I don't regret it. I just like brutal fragrances, and this is the right place for me.

Musamam starts off very leathery, in the sense of tanned leather and smoke, the smokiness subsides significantly in the first 10 minutes and the leather is clearly joined by rose geranium, which fits well into the concept here. From the middle you can still recognize saffron and lavender, which bring in some sweetness, so the fragrance stays for a while until the incense spreads more and more and the fragrance thus ends woody-resinous.

So if you like fragrances like Gucci guilty absolute and Gucci PH, you should also like Musamam!
