A flower dream
Honour 43 by Amouage is a perfume that gives you the feeling of walking through a blooming paradise. The fresh floral notes around jasmine and co. give the fragrance an incredible vibrancy and freshness that makes you feel like you are sniffing fresh flowers. The complexity of the fragrance unfolds slowly, with the floral notes blending with subtle nuances of warmth and sensuality to create a sense of well-being.
Honour 43 has an exciting top note that smells of fresh rhubarb leaf, spicy coriander and pepper. This is followed by the heart note with a blend of gardenia, jasmine, tuberose, garden carnation and lily of the valley. However, jasmine and tuberose are particularly pronounced. The blend of floral notes gives the fragrance a sweet and warm note. The base note consists of opoponax, sandalwood, labdanum, leather, vetiver and incense, which lend the fragrance a warm, woody and spicy depth, although the flowers continue to dominate. I cannot detect incense and labdanum as the fragrance progresses.
In terms of longevity, Honour 43 surpasses the normal version and all expectations. Even after 10 to 12 hours, the fragrance does not lose its intensity on the skin, and the sillage fades after 4 to 5 hours. A complex fragrance that remains fascinating from start to finish. The blend of fresh, floral and woody notes makes for a pleasant fragrance experience that lasts a long time. One of my favorites!
