Every time a pleasure to unpack MFK fragrances, the whole presentation is already an experience.

This fragrance combines the best of all worlds: Citrus-fresh start, continuous, warm-soft tonka vanilla sweetness, powdery-woody by iris, and the special something by amyris and very subtle - and as I find ingeniously used - saffron.

In contrast to the EdT sweeter and softer, more balanced, but not so spicy-fresh and less "mainstream shower gel vibe". Better are also the excellent durability and good sillage.

Wearable in any season, in any weather. Rather do without the 5 bottles Boss Bottled or Le Male (good, conceptually comparable Immergeher, no question) and puts you this one to. The extremely long shelf life, economical dosage and noticeably noble composition make up for the surcharge.

Short interim impression after a year: I'm still excited, despite now some other fragrance tests so far nothing comparable smelled. The here creates m.E. simply the perfect (!) Balance between spiciness, creamy sweetness and freshness as well as between mass suitability (in the positive sense) and exclusivity (the eponymous Amyris, super subtle saffron, overall slightly oriental appeal) and is thereby anlassungs- und Jahreszeitunabhängig theoretically consistently portable - he provokes, however, quickly smell blindness, so that a change is offered, provided that you wear fragrances mainly for themselves. But it undoubtedly has signature potential. Remains only to hope that MFK never stops this masterpiece, as has already happened with other classics...

I always wanted to test him, now it was so far.
The beginning immediately reminded me of a lavender accentuated Bleu de Chanel - which here is often called rather disparagingly shower gel freshness -, whereby relatively soon a light leather note begins to set in, which spreads in the base more and more slightly peppery.

The initial sharpness fades very quickly and a soft but present lavender note spreads, underlined by the vetiver. So just no (in my opinion mostly unpleasant) Fougere-herbaceousness.

Altogether it is a very adult, but not dusty fragrance, especially in this modern interpretation of lavender lies the actual performance of MFK.
It radiates elegance and self-confidence without being obtrusive, absolutely suitable for everyday use and the office.

Sovereignty, authenticity, competence, sincerity, these are just some of the attributes that come to mind. A fragrance for unobtrusive personalities who have nothing to pretend or hide.

For an EdT very good durability and a Sillage appropriate to the just described external effect.

Only to recommend, would not like to miss it any more and hopefully soon be able to call it my own beyond the rehearsal!

The bottle itself is a varied pleasure: a narrow, darkened glass bottle in the form of a body/deodorant spray that is pressurised with aerosol to ensure a constant spraying experience without pumps. Something different, like it.

I came across the scent more by accident. For once not about parfumo, but on YouTube.
So far I was rather reserved there - too subjective, only one opinion, street surveys... cut up? -but, what can I say? Advertised as an inexpensive A*s cracker, almost an insider tip, presented in only three videos.
When I found the scent via detours here and had positive statements ready, the matter was clear. The price actually did not allow any further considerations: What's there to lose?
Well then, ordered, mind you in the UK (still belonging to the European domestic market), a few days later there.
The packaging is clever and practical: two plastic trays, held together by a green banderole, on top a sticker promising at least six hours longevity, wait and see...
Opened, sprayed on (yes, the spray head is gentle to dose), ten-second alcohol cloud awaited, smelled, enthusiastic. A current CDNIM should serve as a comparison.

First of all: Yes, you have to dose more generously and the Sillage is not so excessive, quicker very close, but similarly durable as the (allegedly somewhat weaker) new CDNIM-Batches.
It begins quite similarly with a bergamot overload, followed by a fruity, slightly oriental-woody heart. The base is also a musk and ambergris composition, but without smoke, CDNIM light so to speak - and that's exactly what I like so much: It is more pleasing, rounder, not so harsh - uncomplicated. And for 14-18€? No contradiction.
More synthetic than a Supremacy Silver, which I found to be authentic during its short performance, not quite as fresh (but also not as airy-light), but as inexpensive as a Vibrant Leather.

The way this fragrance wants to go is clear. He doesn't deny it either - honestly.
If you want to keep it short and don't want to test yourself (like me and many "fellow sufferers") through countless interpretations, the Perfumer's Choice Victor N°9 is the perfect choice.

Clear purchase recommendation, as long as the smell still exists and the borders are still duty-free!

Granted, he's a little out of line. The profumo sovereign and masculine with its frankincense sea note in the base, the EdT Spray or Essenza as a fresh counterpart.
Where should the Absolu line up?
Whoever approaches the fragrance with this black and white expectation will be disturbed. It does not fit into the drawn picture of these two bestselling fragrances.
Otherwise I can't explain the rather poor overall rating at the moment.
Well then... with distance and the necessary openness: it bears the name, it fills the usual bottle and yet it is not.
He begins his own and ends his own, his kinship can be guessed at most, and yet he has completely convinced me with his citric-fruity beginning and elegant-warm, slightly maritime-fruity ending appearance, which at no time seems overloaded or intrusive.
The proximity to the Invictus family cannot be denied, but it does not adhere to this unpleasant synthetics and forms its own class.
H/S are average to slightly above average.

In short: Have the courage, be unbiased and with a little luck you will be able to enjoy a fragrance of your own kind that is absolutely justified in price!
