I was so exited to test this one (after all Abdul Samad Al qurashi is a master perfume house). A friend brought it along from Saudi and there we go… initial spray is a wave of grapefruit /pink pepper but like realy “thickness”, or is it the ginger (as mentioned in the notes) thats causing that “too much grapefruit”. When its settled it stays “thick” citrusy and i get some vetiver also. It becomes like a barberschop smell wich you wont get rid of it. Kind of Amouage silver tone in it (tone=barbershop accord). I get the same with isola sol Roja wich i find more feminine leaning because of the “thickness” in the grapefruit. Like it wont come out. Great Bottle great colour great price but a bit disappointed in the outcome sadly..

A blanket of elegance and comfort. You cannot buy style, it’s a state of mind and François Demachy has proven this once again. The opening is a wave of bergamot/orange blossom that spreads further with birch and leather but in such an elegant way that you can't help but love this perfume. Where does it stop? Sound can create echoes, this smell doesn't stop if you know what I mean. The birch becomes so soft with the tobacco and violet that your senses now get the true meaning of leather. The statement in 2014 was that they wanted to “scent the inside of a leather bag”…..I see a piece of wood with a fine layer of varnish or even as Andy Tauer described his Lonestar Memories as a rider after a long day on his horse...well the saddle of that horse, that paint, the leather pfffff where does it stop? Well...on the Cote d'Azur after sunset on a terrace and dreaming that this scent would never end…. Best discontinued fragrance ever!!!!

Sometimes less is more you know? Everything is so expensive these days, global heating fucked up collegues at work (and supervisors), everybody is complaining you know.
The thing i love in niche fragrances is that the nose behind this fragrance is isolated in a way from this world and just focused on formula’s. Leather 6 is realy one of my top 3 fragrances ever!!! This juice got me so elevated that I’m speechless. Yes there is leather, and some burned sugar but dont let the name get you confused. This is my signature scent for now and we are in hot summer time!!!

Loewe has done a great job here. Available in 150ml! I use this in summertime and like to overspray myself. Funny how friends always say that i’m on Creed Aventus lol. Where Creed had his period now its time to move on. If you ever visit Tenerife…buy it there at a cheap price, you wont regret it and you will be noticed!!

When you think you had it all…. You better try this one!! I’m Into niche & like to show off to my friends about how designers fragrances are “less” etc….. this time i choose to not show off with this fragrance (read beautifull one). I read someone comparing it with Xerjoff More than Words… i totally agree. It took me a while to decide to share my thoughts about this one. But If you feel like Its getting too much with niche & overpricing & reformulations and this d that…..keep it simple & enjoy!!! My next step is layering this beatifull scent with Jovoy’s Incident Diplomatique and …to be continued.
