During hot weather, I appreciate simple and unpretentious fragrances. Here: just lemon and sandalwood-and that's enough! I would never wear this ODT for a special occasion, BUT: Everyday errands, visits to the doctor, at the playground with the grandchildren, at home on the couch, etc. etc. I love this fragrance for these normal occasions! - i love this fragrance for these normal occasions! It doesn't always have to be highly complex - you can also appreciate and celebrate simplicity!

I received "Devotion" as a gift from a friend and was immediately impressed. Strange, because I don't really like sweet fragrances and I'm generally skeptical when it comes to new releases (I love classics!).
What fascinates me about "Devotion" is that it manages with three ingredients: the sweet lemon is a great prelude, followed by orange blossom, which immediately takes me to my favorite city (Seville!) and finally you are enveloped by warm vanilla. Unlike other reviewers, however, I don't associate the fragrance with summer. It's very cold at the moment and "Devotion" wraps itself around me like a cashmere blanket. A great fragrance that has what it takes to become a classic!

As a spice, I hate coriander. As soon as it is part of a dish, the food stops. However, I love the scent of peaches, although I find it too sweet and lovely in perfumes. When I discovered White peach and coriander by chance, my curiosity got the better of me and I sprayed it on the test strip. Wow! I was blown away from the first sniff. I tried it directly on my skin and bought it the next day. In my opinion, the sweetness of the peach combined with the herbaceousness of the coriander results in a harmonious fragrance that I can really snuggle into. I read that another reviewer thought it smelled like wet dog, which I can't understand at all. But noses are very different and that's a good thing!

I love this fragrance especially in summer - both the mandarin and the basil are clearly recognizable and create an interesting and soothing effect. An unobtrusive fragrance suitable for everyday use that is very simple, i.e. without depth. But it is perfect for hot and humid days. It doesn't always have to be a profoundly complex fragrance experience.
Now comes the BUT: although the bottle is beautiful, the "simple" (albeit very good) contents do not justify the high price. After I had bought it, I sniffed the 4711 blood orange and basil by chance at Müller. And what can I say: just as good for a fraction of the price.
