...that was a saying that my mother liked to use when you guys got too much of anything we kids did and it came back to me just today when I unwrapped the souped-up scent.

I discovered this scent in the 80s and of course "wise...ßerisch", as a teen is sometimes called, I associated the name of the scent with this saying and told it to my mother.

Her dry explanation: "A lot of fuss for something as unimportant as perfume!"

That's when I lost my breath! At that time, I was never really mouth dead, but I couldn't think of anything else. Perfume! Unimportant???? Are you serious?! It doesn't matter! Pah! "Tamtam" fits perfectly, the scent makes(s) a lot of tamtam!!! Just right for a loud rebellious teen like me! There! "Tamtam" was my middle name at that time...I wanted it so much, but too expensive for a student...grmpf...

As I mentioned at one point or another, however, it was unimportant for my mother. A scent, always only for "special occasions", more she did not need.

But now to Cinnabar himself: I actually liked the scent a lot back then, but everything always turned around. He was already strong, a real "Haudraufduft" and therefore I always got headaches from it. I couldn't afford it, and if there was a tester somewhere, it was always up there. Later, my beloved obelisk came into my collection, also such a beautiful "spice scent", which I also (v)endured better and so Cinnabar was done for me for the time being.

Clove, sandalwood and for me the cinnamon which is no longer mentioned in the list...simply wonderful. Now here at Parfumo I had to test it again, which I did half a year ago for the first time in a long time. On the way back from the office quickly into a perfumery, the bottle searched and not found, because it looks different today, then just discovered and zack, zack, spray ... örgks ... Unfortunately I suddenly no longer liked it at all. How could that be? Maybe too many other smells around me? The tester's out of order? Something's wrong here. I left then, because the price has it in it for me already, so well, then we simply forget this smell. Hook it, that's it.

Of course I've read a bit more detailed here, yes, the bottle looks different, the scent is probably different today, only the name...bad and sad...well good.

Since then I have always thought, however, there must be a bottle and I must lead that to me again to Gemüte. So my fragrance preferences have not changed and certainly the fragrance is not changed at all, as it seemed to me during the "test in the cascade", so I went on the search in the souk. Today finally came the bottle, zack open and zisch and aaaaah .... yes ... fine ... super .... but it works! Son comes around the corner, a benevolent nod, hmmmm...here it smells great! Hah! If my son doesn't "stink" or "choke", then that means something, so everything is done right for me.

Yes, it weakens in contrast to the old version, the Sillage is quite quickly dismantled. Yes, he is missing something, certainly the aldehyde, certainly something else, but: It is unmistakably Cinnabar and I can stand him. No headaches, no dizziness...I'm newly in love with the new version of Cinnabar!

...there they sit again and chat. On the left the devil - on the right the naive angel...that's how I feel when I want to comment on the second "quick buy" at Dougi and start spraying:

Angel: Hmmmm, delicious mandarin and peach - white peach - mjam mjam..

Devil: Yes, exactly! Bullshit! Bullshit! What you're talking about is getting the chemistry club in... my ass! No one can sniff out what that is...sweet fruit pancake!

Angel: Please, I don't see it that way...smells nice...

Devil: No, it doesn't and you know it very well, you with your whitewashing, pah!

Angel: Oh come...musk, I love musk and wood...there's cedar wood in here, that's great!

Devil: Yeah, yeah, yeah, blah, blah, blah! I can read too, but I can't RIECHEN any of it...that's supposed to sound good...Zeeeedernholz UND weißener Moschus...lölölölö tralalalala..Quatsch mit (Mief-)Sauße! Quiet now!

Angel: Hm...might be that...na yaaaaaaa, maybe you're right...

Devil: Of course I'm right! It was flickering! You got it! Unbelievable! The stuff sucks like ice cubes in a mixer, it's pointless like low carb bread with peanut butter and besides: If she sprays herself with it, then we have to wear both and I don't feel like it - BASTA! Off to the barrel with it!!

Engelchen: Okay, but we could still pass it on...every day a good deed...maybe somebody else likes it...so free of charge is of course...

Devil: Are you all right????? If it's absolutely necessary, but then to someone here at Parfumo who comes at least from another city, better from another state or even abroad, although, if they find that when crossing the border...no, but good in the barrel doesn't go then, that's pollution and just so somewhere to take away, we could - if we are seen - in retrospect be framed as bodily injury...and of course FREE of charge...I don't want to be sued again, like with the other so called "scent"...then we have a claim for damages on our neck afterwards...although...still better than this scent I would think, harharharharhar.... ;-)

Reason:

The defendant simply wanted to go for a stroll again and spend money to satisfy her perfume addiction. On the evening of 14.06.2018 she went to one of the many branches of the perfumery described above to have a look around. What happened then can only be described as the absolute stupidity of the defendant:

After she had sneaked through the shop for several minutes and found out that she knew all the fragrances she could buy there and either already owned them or considered them to be unwearable, she had a saleswoman approach her for "advice", with which the disaster took its course. In the end, however, the defendant was only interested in expanding her collection of fragrances and so she had the plaintiff's fragrance sprayed onto a carrier card and found it quite acceptable.

As is generally known, this is by no means an appropriate test and the defendant should have known and recognised what the result would have been based on years of membership of the Parfumo community. In addition to this fragrance, another perfumery, also the own brand of this perfumery, was selected almost within seconds and immediately paid for, because the defendant was of the opinion that a perfumery should be left with a fragrance. The price and the practical sizes of the flacons did the rest, that these are also no appropriate selection criteria, needs no further mention and is sufficiently known.

Since that day, the defendant has not missed an opportunity to insult and denigrate the plaintiff. Durability and Sillage would not be bad for an EdT at all, but due to the absolutely horrible smell in itself, just a big disadvantage. Furthermore, the defendant repeatedly criticizes the absolutely outstanding aquatic notes, which left room neither for vanilla nor for musk, not to mention the insult to the top note as "nothing special".

Since the defendant is, however, powerful at reading and hates aquatic notes - as is generally known on parfumo.de - the plaintiff's packaging could have simply been seen by the defendant to be absolutely unsuitable for accompanying her or permanently withdrawing her from her

Due to the above circumstances, it is in no way the plaintiff's fault that he did not do justice to the claims of the defendant's nose and is now denigrated by it. The defendant had sufficient opportunity to inform itself about the plaintiff and to reject a purchase. The plaintiff enjoys nevertheless some popularity with other customers of this Parfumerie and Community members on parfumo.de, why the deplored one is to be condemned in the sense of the indictment and to apologize for this absolutely self-caused false purchase to refrain from such purchases in the future and to expose the plaintiff in no way more in the public, in which way ever, in which way

...since 1990, it was the first gift at my 19th birthday from my “new” boyfriend in this year. A lot of people think, it is ony a fragrance for cold seasons, maybe autumn or winter, but never for summer! He said it ist “a frangrance for prostitutes” (sorry, but this is what he said).

I don`t think so. It’s a strong fragrance okay, but...

We will forget this statement. Vanilla and sandalwood keep it calm, although I can’t smell the vanilla, but I know, that is the reason for softnesss. It starts wonderful smelling like oranges for me (maybe this ist the mix vom peaches and citruses) and there must be some other spices, not ony thyme. For me there is cinnamon and the roses and jasmine are not so strong, as the most people would think and it smells wonderful sweet and I like it for every day, it is a really warm fragrance - not hot ;-D

For me it is an extraordinary fragrance that is second to none! Test it!
