A mysterious type
As most of the Kajal’s fragrances, this is quite powerful. It’s more on the powdery and floral side, but I think it would be nice on some men. I also feel like this is sort of reminds me of a type of rose scented soap when I was a little, it’s not a negative thing, just a throw back feeling.
Not a blind buy safe type, for people don’t like powdery scent.

Not exactly a clone but it’s decent
This perfume got so much hype from the community and sold out everywhere, I finally got one after a long waiting.
The first sniff is quite pleasant, Ultra Male style, not a clone but inspired. Sweet, synthetic, powdery, a bit ambery-woody base. For its price point, I understand why it’s popular, very mass-appealing, especially for the younger crowd. Longevity and projection are both decent, we are talking about a $30 fragrance here, not even some $100 designer’s fragrance can fully compare.
For beginners this one is blind buy worthy. For experienced note it’s debatable.

Not exactly a Tuxedo clone but good for its price
I’ve heard about this clone for over a year and finally decided to pick one up. I enjoy YSL Tuxedo so much and have very low expectation for this fragrance.
It surprised me in a good way. It does resemble the Tuxedo style scent profile, but it’s heavier, denser, spicier, woodier for my experience, a little more oriental at the back ground. Tuxedo appears to be more like unisex type of scent, and Turathi brown is more in a masculine way. I like them both, as separate fragrances.
The longevity of Turathi brown is decent, projecting well when over spray. I don’t consider it as a tuxedo clone, but it’s quite nice for the price. Great mass-appealing scent.

Good Layton alternative
I heard so much good things about this Layton Clone. My experience with the few clone style fragrances were not all positive. I do love my Layton and Layton Exclusif, this Detour Noir actually surprisingly pleasant.
It’s a clone style fragrance with decent quality ingredients. The first impression is like 90% to Layton, a hint sharper. Sweet, warm spicy, woody base tone, quite good. The dry down is a bit sweeter than Layton, a bit caramel like on my skin, not a bad thing.
The longevity of this perfume is decent, about 6-8 hours cold outdoors as I tested. Good projection for the first 2-3 hours. On the clothes the scent lasts for days.
One thing that may be the biggest complaint for this fragrance is the bottle design. Who things this odd shape will fit in anyone’s hand? At least for me and my family members, this weird curve shape in the back of the bottle is absolutely not necessary.
The cap is kinda cheaply made too. But for the quality of the juice and the price, that can be over-looked.
Overall, this is a good alternative for Layton lovers. I would keep this one with the original Layton.

Oud for Greatness want-to-be
I’m weird about clones yet I’m curious enough to buy some. Apparently I’m not the only one own the originals and still buying the clones just for comparing them.
This Oud for Glory that everyone is bragging about, is not that impressive at the opening. Very synthetic chemical-like smell. Far off from the real deal. For the opening alone I would rate under 5 out of 10, because I do love everything about Oud for Greatness from Initio. But the dry down is nicer, closer to its concept, about 70-80% to my nose at least. Longevity is there, for a cheapy is quite impressive. Well, pretty much most of the clones have to have good performance at least. Overall, it’s a cheap clone, for under $25 it’s not really fair to ask too much. Great for Oud/beginners.
If someone really don’t want to save up for the real Initio, (although I think they are well worthy it) try Supremacy in Oud from Afnan, it’s a better quality fragrance overall, much nicer and smoother than this Oud for Glory in my opinion.
